Cumberland / Joseph Harrison mother's name
« on: Thursday 10 November 22 14:49 GMT (UK)  »
My great grand father Joseph Harrison married in 1863 my great grand mother Sarah Tindal
at Cockermouth in the parish of Brigham. On the marriage certificate, Joseph Harrison is said to be
the son of William Harrison husbandman.

I am searching for the name of his mother

If we go by the census taken after their marriage, he was born in 1841 at Cockermouth.

But in the 1841,1851,1861 census , I just cannot find a Joseph Harrison, born in 1841, who is a
member of a family headed by William Harrison.
Hoping someone can help me.  Thank you in advance.

     Hi everyone
As I do not have any photo of my grandfather James Brewster-Fisher and
of his family , he was a well known book illustrator and artist in London
at the beginning of the last century (1896-1913 ?)

He was born in Doncaster ,Yorkshire in 1871. son of James John Fisher and
Jane Christian but his family moved to London when he was a young boy.

In 1898,he was the Hon. Secretary of The Gilbert-Garret Sketching Club.

I imagine that there's a good chance to find a picture of him in art books
and books about British illustrators published in those years.

I would love to see what he looked like...
