SHIP launching  UK LOCATION help, please

Hello!

Any ideas please as to the  location of this

SHIP LAUNCHING and name of ship ?

Apart from the ship builders' technical wording nothing else to read. Huge crowd watching the launch. American flag is draped at the right. Hillside in the distance.

Hello!

Any ideas please as to the identity / location of this

Rovers 1st FOOTBALL TEAM ?

Players in bi-coloured strip. Team names:-
Simpson, Latheron, Chapman, Aitkenhead, Anthony / Walmsley, Smith, Bradshaw, R.Middleton, Sec. / Crompton, Captain, Cowell / Robinson

Message on reverse starts:
"This is the Photo of the Rovers 1st"

I've found the unusual surname LATHERON is most prolific in 1911 in: Cheshire, Durham, Lancashire, & Yorkshire

There is some kind of shield/badge above Aitkenhead's left shoulder.

Hello!

Any ideas please as to the location of this

Country street with James BELL General Merchant shop

The girl at left stands in the doorway of James BELL, General Merchant, Licensed Retailer of Tobacco. Last three properties also have signs above their doors but totally unreadable due to angle .

The photo is a postcard. The stamp has been removed so nothing remains but the postmark looks like that of a small village. On the message side, opposite the date (28/6/11) is possibly the location but I am unable to decipher1 Could it be "C- John"?

Corner Shop. House & Sign Decorator, Gas & Water Fitter and Plumber.

Edwardian corner property on a slight incline. Distinctive bricks. No traders' name. Also a Paper Hanger and seller of Paints. Photo by NORTH of Reading, Berkshire. Looks like a single digit door number (probably #1)!

GREAT CENTRAL RAILWAY Crash

Crash / derailment on two line countryside stretch. Looks to involve rolling stock only (no passenger carriages). On the reverse of the image is handwritten "Thonock / Gainsborough". Is this the correct location?  Any information greatly received!

Hello!

Any ideas please as to the location of the

SELINA JANE ketch

c1912. I have found the ketch SELINA JANE was owned by The Sharpness New Docks and Gloucester and Birmingham Navigation Co. It was built in 1872.  There's a distinctive brick warehouse with deeply inset windows alongside. No lettering on the other boats.

In the distance, to the left, are goal posts in a football pitch and possibly a railway bridge.

Could she moored up on the River Severn somewhere?

CASTLE HOTEL

c1912. Three story CASTLE HOTEL with column entrance having flagpole above. Two story residential terraced property to left. Lantern from entrance has wording but unreadable (probably says Castle Hotel). Fire Brigade pose outside.Looks like a small rural town.

Hello!

Any ideas please as to the location of these

Guest House fire remains

c1920s. Detached stone/brick property. The sign by the 1st floor window is mostly unreadable. "School & Parties Etc, catered for, Terms moderate" and "Accommodation" are visible. I'm guessing it could be a seaside location. There appears to be the remnants of a weighing machine alongside. In the distance (beyond the flag) there appears to be 3+ rows of seating.

Hello!

Any ideas please as to the location of

WERN Road. Shop name TALBOT (Butcher)? South Wales  /  Monmouthshire

Wern Road at end of brick/stone terraced row of houses on steep incline. The name TALBOT above the door. Sign in window probably reads (Cant)ERBURY (La)MB so more than likely a Butchers shop!
Shop on opposite corner has in window "Umbrellas and ? made. Repaired  ? Speciality"

I'm convinced this is South Wales or  Monmouthshire
