Hi All.
Benjamin Leander Wilson and Mary Mayoll where my great grand parents.
From my granddads birth cert ( Arthur Wilson ) i have Benjamin Leander Wilson father and Mary Theresa Wilson formerly Mayoll mother and the birth is in Dudley in 1902 and the family are at 19 Newhall street Dudley, father is a labour.
I have scanned free BMD for a marriage but can't find one, my cousin has scanned A*******y and can't see one and we can find nothing on any census for this couple, and there where supposed to be other children.
The problem that we also have is that my grand parents divorced and my mother would not speak about her father, so i have no info to go on.
If anyone can help i would be grateful.
I can find no birth for Benjamin or Mary either.

London & Middlesex Completed Lookup Requests / Gillkerson surname help please.
« on: Sunday 13 July 08 22:36 BST (UK)  »
Hi All.
I am trying to trace the family of Mary Elizabeth Gillkerson.
What i know is that Mary Elizabeth Gillkerson married on 22 July 1888 to Edward Alfred Albiston by banns at St Bartholomew's parish church Bethnel Green Middlesex.
She was a 19 year old Spinster living at 376 ( and it is either Cosfield St or Corfield St ) and was a machinist. She also signed the register. Her father was John Gillkerson who was a butcher.
She was married in the presence of Elizabeth Gillkerson and John Gillkerson. And i have the marriage cert.
I can find no trace of the family in either the 1881, 1871 1861 census. And i can find no trace of Edward and Mary Albiston in the 1891 census and they should be there with children.
Any help would be lovely please.

Suffolk / Priscilla HAWKINS - Help Please.
« on: Wednesday 28 May 08 22:30 BST (UK)  »
Hi All.
I need help tracking this lady please. I would like to find her birth if poss. What i know is, She married on 19 October 1872 in Stowmarket Suffolk to John Rice, both of full age. I have the marriage cert.
John is a Malster on the cert.
On the 1881 census John is head of house married male 29 born Woolpit Suffolk and a Malster and they are living in 56 south St Cambridge.
She is now Kate wife married 25 born Stowmarket Suffolk. There are no children.
In the 1891 census John is 39 married male  birth year 1852 born Woolpit Suffolk and is a Brewers Labourer. They are still in Cambridge but different address.
Wife Kate is married aged 34 born 1857 now born Woolpit Suffolk. And there are 4 children.
John Rice is the twin brother of my GG grandfather who was born 1842, so has taken 10 years off his age.
No where can i find a birth reg for either Kate or Priscilla Hawkins, If she was born in 1857 as she states she would have been 15 in 1872 when they married, so could not have been of full age.I can not find a death reg for Priscilla Rice as my thinking was Priscilla had died and John had remarried.
Any help would be lovely.
Thank you.
