Hi there im trying to find where someone would have gone to put a child up for adoption in 1946  . She lived in the above address but i cant find it presuming it has been pulled down ... if anyone can help let me know its whereabouts in Washington and the nearest local council that may have been involved ?  Thanks in advance  :)

I have now confirmed my family originate from Rostock / Malchin area of West Pomerania Germany dating back to Bernhard Elias Gottlieb Christoph WIENER born in 1829 but its the later generation that I'm struggling with Bernhard Wilhelm Martin Emil WIENER to be precise he was in the Newcastle u tyne area in 1909 but then he appears to disappear off the face of the earth ?? along with his wife Marie Karoline Wiener nee Linnakugal and his daughters Beatrice Kate Marion Wiener (born in 1906)and Dora Wiener ( born 1908) both born in Newcastle u Tyne . They may have returned to Malchin ? any info as usual would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

1867 census informationen zufolge groBeltern waren an der gleichen adresse, aber ich kann nicht lesen

I have found our ancestors at last in a  birth and marriage document placing them in Malchin Schwerin Germany.  Bernhard Wilhelm Martin Emil Wiener was my great grandfather he came to the uk and in1905 married and had 3 Children one of the children ...my grandfather was left in the UK while his parents went back to Germany but never came back for him - he was less than a year old at the time BWME Wiener was an electrical engineer born 06.01.1879 . His father Rudolph Theophil Theodor Heinrich was mentioned as a cabinet manufacturer and his father before him was Bernhard Elias Gottlieb Wiener . I would love to find out more about the family and more so find out what happened to my grandfathers sisters Beatrice Kate Wiener born in 1906 and Dora Wiener born in 1908 both born in the Uk . I have found some entries on the 1867 census but am struggling to read it correctly it looks like the grandmother of Rudolph T T H Wiener may be on there too . Any help would be appreciated 😃

Hi I have recently found through USA census records that my family came from Wendel Germany . Just wondered if anyone can help me with some searches  or information for where to contact for birth certificates etc Information i have is
Fritz LINKUGEL born August 1841 in Wendel and married to Louise born Oct 1845
According to the Kansas USA census the arrived from Germany in 1875  He was a farmer and had mortgaged land .

Marie Caroline Anna Linkogel born 21.04.1889 in Hannover Germany - I am fairly certain this is my ancestor who came to the UK and married in 1905 (making her a very young bride - 16yrs old ) although she stated on her marriage certificate to being 23 years old . She also states her name as Marie Karoline Linnenkugel but as alot of the certificate has spelling errors on it I have been a little open minded when searching . I have struggled to find any passenger details for her using the various names .
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Im not really sure where I could post this one ??? Just wondering if anyone knows if it was possible for a couple (of German origin and Im guessing quite recently entering the country) to marry in a German Lutheran church in the uk without any official papers ie so they could make up their ages to suit !
