Trying to find the parents of Mary Ann Little who I believe lived in the Gretna Green area.
I believe that she married a Charles Perry (from Somerset) in Scotland c1848.
They had a son Charles Perry b c1849 in Scotland.
The family then moved to London and can be found in the 1851 census.
Does this ring any bells with anyone?????

Regards

« on: Sunday 26 September 10 17:12 BST (UK)  »
Hi one and all,

If its not too much trouble, can anyone out there help me untangle my BREWSTER ancestors who appear to have moved to Pleshey from the Great Waltham area in c1800.

Specifically I am hoping that someone can advise on the following look ups :-

BREWSTER births 1800 to 1845 at Holy Trinity, Pleshey, Essex.

BREWSTER marriages 1800 to 1845 at Holy Trinity, Pleshey Essex.

Here's hoping that someone has ploughed the same furrow!!

Thanks,

Essex Lookup Requests / Brewster family of Gt Waltham
« on: Saturday 07 August 10 18:12 BST (UK)  »
Hi, can anyone help me out with a Gt Waltham lookup please?
My 4 th great grandfather was Joseph Brewster who (from IGI) married Mary Green on 28/10/1771 at Gt Waltham.
However there is also a record of a marriage (from IGI) between a Joseph Brewster and a Sarah Green on 13/01/1766 also at Gt Waltham.
Is this a coincidence or did Joseph first wife Sarah die and he then married her sister Mary?
I am curious to find out as if Joseph did marry twice, then I can pick up an Ancestral IGI trail to the Brewster's of Good Easter all the way back to my 8 th great grandfather John Brewster bc1600.
Firstly, is there a Gt Waltham burial record for a Sarah Brewster, wife of Joseph between 1766 and 1771?
Secondly, if so were there any children from this marriage?
Thirdly, are there any records which would indicate that Sarah and Mary Green were sisters?
I am hoping that somebody may have the answers.
