Hi, quick question, is there a way to view a cause of death without purchasing a death certificate, for a baby that only drew breath for a short while. Thanks

The Common Room / George Barnett

Hi

Hope I’m on the right board with this question.

I posted on here about 10 years ago about my great grandfather and I’m still no further with him.

The info I do know is that on the 1901 census it says he was born in Tunbridge Wells in 1867. I cannot find any record of his birth.

Facts that I do know is that he was at sea before his marriage to Alice Bright in 1890 and presume that he is still at sea in 1891 as I cannot find him on the census, I can only find Alice.

On there marriage certificate his father is also names as George Barnett deceased Coastguard.

My grandfather was also George Barnett and his brothers all moved to London as young men for work

I am hoping that the above info may connect to someone’s tree and that I will be able to take this side of my family back further

Thank you for info that someone may have

Regards

Linda (nee Barnett)

Kent / George Barnett 1867 (kent)

Hi, I'm having problems finding a birth for my great grandfather George Barnett 1867, in the census of 1901 and 1911 it is saying he was born in Tunbridge Wells. I know from his marriage certificate that his father is also George Barnett.

I cannot locate George Barnett 1867 on the 1891 census but this is possibly because he was away at sea as I know at that time he was a mariner. He also married Alice Bright from Kenton, Devon in Kenton February 1890.

If you have any info on my great grandfather George Barnett 1867 can you please post on here.

Many Thanks

Linda
