Durham / Searching for Jamaican ancestor

Hi, Would anyone know how to find out if ones ancestor was of Jamaican origin? I believe my great grandmother may of been or possibly her mother. Any help pointing me in the right direction would be great. Thanks

My Great Grandfather in 1881 states he is from G Cole, Lancashire. Does anyone know where that would of been in Lancashire? eg what is the place called now?

Lancashire Lookup Requests / Winnard 1851 and 1861

Hi folks

Am wondering if anyone has access to lookup the above times and name please?

There is a John Winnard b 1815 and Alice b 1823. They lived in Reed Tce, Blackrod in 1871.
There should be a John b 1848 and possibly a Hugh b 1849/50/51

Northumberland Lookup Requests / 1861 and 1871 Wilson - Bishopwearmouth

Hi Folks,

Am wondering if anyone has the the 61 and 71 census for Bishopwearmouth. I have John Wilson and Ann (?) living in 4 Gibsons Alms Houses, Bishopwearmouth in 1881 and am wondering where they were before. They are possibly my ggp's and had a son John Wilson in 1852c. John Snr was a master mariner in 1881 as was his son John.

Durham / Rowe? whats your thoughts?

Wondering what you folk make of the following information -

1881
John Winnard/M/32/head/ Living in Trimdon, Durham
Mary Jane Winnard/M/31/wife
Edward Rowe/son in law/8
John Winnard /son/4
Alice Winnard /daughter/3
Martha Winnard/ daughter/1

Then we have the marriage cert - Parish of Wingate, Easington
John Winnard/36/Widower/father John Winnard
m
Mary Jane Rowe/32/Spinster/father Edward Rowe

Then we have the birth cert of my grandmother -
Emily Winnard 31-10-1896/father John Winnard/mother Mary Jane formerly Morris. Also a son whom they called Hugh Morris Winnard.

My questions then are, what to believe?
Both ggrandparents were illiterate so maybe they were not aware of what was written? Also there are some differences as to when Mary Jane was born or where she was born so I think it would be a rather difficult task to find her properly.

Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated.

They lived in Hudsons Buildings Westoe in 1881.

Lancashire Lookup Requests / Winnard lookup

Would it possible for sks to do a lookup for me please.

I am trying to find the unfindable I think. I am looking for John Winnard b c 1850 in G Cole, Lancashire. His father is named as John Winnard on the marriage cert dated 1883. I think John snr wife may of been Alice but am unsure. I have John jnr in the 1881 census and onwards, but cant seem to find him before then. So the 1871, 61 and possibly 51 finds would be good.

They had at least one son William Willis Johnson b 1845 Tynemouth.
