Pembrokeshire / Eliza Williams:Census look up:Crinow
« on: Monday 07 February 11 14:48 GMT (UK)  »
Hi, I was wondering whether any one could find out the whereabouts of Eliza Williams born in Crinow  14th Sept 1843 on the 1841 Census? i think her parents were  William  and Margaret Williams.William was I think born in Cosheston in about 1811 and Margaret born in Kippin (?) in about 1812.
Would be grateful if any one could find any more information about these two like  a marriage for William and Margaret or even their parents.
I have tried free BMD and free reg but to no avail,
Thankyou for your interest and help,

Cardiganshire / Evans family:Llanrhystyd:Look up
« on: Monday 07 February 11 14:32 GMT (UK)  »
Hi I was wondering whether any one could help me find out some facts about this family.
They are mentioned on the 1861 census as living in  55 Maesnewydd:
John Evans 38 1823 Shoemaker Llanbadarn Fawr
Elizabeth Evans 37 1824 Tregaron
Richard son 9 1852 Llanbadarn fawr
*Mary daughter  7 1854 LLanilar
Elizabeth 4 1857 Llanrhystyd.
I would be very interested whether any one could help me trace a  date for their marriage, either of their parents names or their deaths. I think I have found a death for John in the MI in llanbadarn fawr as 21st Jan1892 but cannot trace Elizabeth's death.
Also I have traced I think their son Richard if my Welsh is correct?
Richard Evans, Pwllhobi yn y plwyf hwn, yr hwn a fu farw Ionawr 26ain1888, yn 37 mlwydd oed. Canys efe a edwyn ein defnydd ni gofia mai llwch ydym. Ni ddaw nghyfeillion mw ya'u hedd i'm hebrwng ond hyd lan y bedd; try pawb eu cefnau dyma'r dydd gadawant fi yn fy ngwely pridd. Hefyd am ei anwyl briod Elizabeth Evans, yr hon a fu farw Rhagfyr 28ain 1928, yn 81 mlwydd ood. Yr Arglwydd yw fy mugail, ni bydd eisieu arnaf.
Any help on tracing details about this family  would be most appreciated.
thanks

Merionethshire / *completed*Photograph request Pennal
« on: Saturday 29 January 11 17:15 GMT (UK)  »
Hi,
I was wondering whether any member passing Pennal could take a photograph of the grave of  my great grandparents Owen Jones and his wife Mary in the cemetery in Pennal. Owen died in 1909 and Mary in 1926. I have been reliabaly informed  that it is on the right hand side  of the main gate 3/4 of the way down? I think there is a memorial to his son Owen Jones who died in WWI on the gravestone too.
Would appreciate any photo and would pass on my e mail address through PM.
Thanks

Cardiganshire / Evans: Census 1841 Aberystwyth
« on: Thursday 20 January 11 16:01 GMT (UK)  »
Hi
Was wondering whether any one could help me. I have found a grave stone on the  LLanbadarn Church site.
"In memory of John Evans, painter, of Aberystwyth, son of John and Susan Evans, late of Ty'nlôn, who died May 20th, 1866, aged 20 years. Also of Isaac Evans, his brother, who was lost at sea, March 1866, aged 18 years. Also of John Evans, Market Hall, Aberystwyth, who died Janu 21st 1892, aged 69 years. "
I think the last mentioned John Evans was my great great Grandfather. He was born in 1823 in Llanbadarn Fawr.
Can any one help me to find this family on the 1841 census?
Thanks
