Somerset Lookup Requests / 1851 Census Look Up - PLENTY - Emborough.

I'd be grateful for a look up for William PLENTY born about 1827 in Emborough, Somerset. He was a Stone Mason.

By 1854 he was in Cardiff. He gives Emborough as his birthplace in the 1861 census. In 1871 his birthplace is recorded as "Wely, Somerset".

Somerset Completed Lookup Requests / 1851 and or 1841 Look up - West Buckland or Wellington

I'm trying to find Samuel and Mary Diamond in 1851 and 1841 and I'd be very grateful for a look up.

I think it's probable that they were in either West Buckland or Wellington as they had a child born in West Buckland in 1849 and another child born in Wellington in 1852.

Samuel Diamond was born in Pitminster in about 1808
Mary Diamond, West Buckland about 1808

Children that I know of are:

William Diamond born about 1836, Pitminster
Samuel Diamond, 1840, West Buckland
John, 1843, West Buckland
Emily, 1844, West Buckland
Robert 1848, West Buckland (died 1849)
Sabina, 1852, Wellington (so won't be on 1851 Census)

Sometimes they were recorded as Dimond, but mainly as Diamond

Somerset Completed Lookup Requests / 1851 Look Up - HARVEY

I'd be very grateful for a look up of Joseph Harvey born either Congresbury or Nailsea circa 1808. He may be widowed or he may be married to a woman named Elizabeth. It's most likely he is in the Backwell or Nailsea area in 1851. His occupation is most likely to be Labourer.

Possibly amongst any children in his household will be a James Harvey born circa 1841 and a Charles Harvey born circa 1843.

Somerset Completed Lookup Requests / 1841 Look Up - VENNER - Bradford

I've been lucky enough to have received a look up for my Venner family in 1851 (see other thread).

In an effort to try and work out whether the family found is the correct one I now need an 1841 look up! I think the 1851 family is correct, but with an error regarding the age of one member.

In 1841, they are probably in the Bradford Area - I'm looking for the household of

John VENNER, born Norton Fitzwarren circa 1794 - most likely an Ag Lab
Sarah Venner born, Bradford circa 1795

Hopefully they will have a son with them - James Venner born about 1827 so about age 12 or 13. This is if my theory about an error regarding his age in the 1851 is correct.

To explain further -

In the 1851 they have a 13 year old James with them, an Ag Lab but my James should have been about 22 or 23 in 1851. Everything else fits so fngers crossed there is not a 3 year old James with them in 1841 as that will ruin my theory!

Any other children would be a bonus - as I don't have any siblings yet.

Somerset Completed Lookup Requests / 1851 Look Up SANDERCOCK & VENNER Bradford

I'm looking for James VENNER, born approximately 1827. He may be with his parents, in 1851 - Father was John Venner and I think mother was called Sarah. James Venner died in 1860 aged 32. Will almost certainly be in Bradford, Somerset in 1851.

I'm also looking for Eliza Wrivet (or Wrevet) SANDERCOCK in the 1851 Census.

She was born in Egloskerry, Cornwall about 1824 and she married in Bradford Somerset (to James Venner) in 1853. Her parents were John Sandercock and Eliza Sandercock nee Wrevet). She was with them in 1841, but by 1851 was probably a servant or similar and likely in Bradford Somerset.

PS One of them may have been with a family named Vickery Im 1851 as a John and Fanny Vickery were witnesses at their marriage. I've found a family of Vickery's in Bradford in 1861 at Heatherton Lodge, Bradford, Somerset - they seem to have been workers at a large Country house and maybe either James Venner of Eliza Sandercock (or both) also worked there.

I'd be very grateful for a look up for the following in 1851 and or 1841. In 1861 they were living in Taunton, but its possible that they were in Wilton, particularly in 1841.

Robert Diamond, born about 1802 in Pitminster, Somerset
Ann Diamond born about 1800 in Bishops Hull, Somerset.

They had 3 sons (that I know of)

John born about 1825 in Wilton
William born about 1828 in Wilton
Robert born about 1831 in Wilton

It's doubtful that any of them would have still been with their parents in 1851 but hopefully they may have been in 1841. I would particularly like to know where William (born 1828, Wilton) was in 1851. He married in Wincanton in 1856.

Hi

I'd be very grateful for a look up in the 1841 and or 1851 for the household of:

William Wimbridge, Thatcher born about 1789 in Beer Crocombe
Ann Wimbridge (wife) born about 1790 in West Buckland

In 1861 and 1871 they were living in Oldway Lane, West Hatch.

I'd also like to have a look up for Mary Wimbridge born about 1826 in West Hatch who I think was the daughter of William and Ann. She married a William Diamond in 1856. It's unlikely she was with her parents in 1851 as she would have been about 25 years old then. But she may have been with them in 1841.

Cheshire Completed Lookup Requests / 1851 Look Up - Romily area - LOWE

I'm trying to research William Lowe born circa 1831 in Romily, Chesire. I have his parents in the 1861 census living in Ludworth, Derbyshire but have been unable to find William prior to 1871.

The family I'm hoping to find in 1851 are as follows:

George Lowe born circa 1801, Bredbury
Mary Lowe born circa 1800, Werneth

Thomas Lowe, born circa 1822
Jane Lowe, born circa 1824
Henry Lowe, born circa 1826
John Lowe, born circa 1828,
Samuel Lowe, born circa 1829
William Lowe born circa 1831
Amy Lowe, born circa 1833
Sarah Lowe, born circa 1835

The children were all born Romily/Hatherlow area but by 1861 George and Mary were in Ludworth, Derbyshire as were some of their children and their families. It may be that the whole family moved to Derbyshire prior to 1851 but I'm hoping not!

Hi

I'm looking for Lucy Vaughan, formerly Page, nee Nixon born about 1804. She <i>may</i> have children with the surname Page in the household with her and her husband may be called Joseph. She should be living somewhere in Birmingham (I hope).

Her children that may be living with her in 1851 would be:

Lucy Selina born 1832 (probably married by 1851)
Joseph born 1835
Theodore born 1838
