Lanarkshire / Mr and Mrs Watson

Hi. Would appreciate any help to find where my great great grandmother and Grandfather are buried A Joseph Watson b. 1809 in Aberdeen and a Jane Dunstan Watson b. 1805 from Banffshire I believe. I found Joseph in the 1871 census in Motherwell with his Daughter Helen but not Jane his wife. Had she died? Their daughter Helen was born in Edinburgh 1844. Can anyone throw light on this for me? Many thanks .

Hi, I am looking for a Patrick and Catharine Kerr. Both born Ireland 1776. They are in the 1851 Census in Saltmarket Glasgow with a son Patrick. They are 75 years old their son is 25. Is there any sign of them in the 1841 Census or the 1861 Census. The son went to India presumably to the Indian Army and married and had a son (Patrick) and then he is mentioned in the 1881 Census back in Scotland. Is it possible with this profusion of Patricks to find them. Patrick and Catherine surely must have died between 1851 and 1881 but I have had no sucess of getting their deaths. Please I would apprectiate any help with this puzzle Thankyou

Looking for decendants of Charlotte Peterson and John Peterson snr. and jnr. Lived in Kings County Brooklyn New York in the 1940s. Charlotte was born 1905 New York John her husband was born in Sweden in circa. 1909. John jnr. born 1939/40 New York. In the 1940 United States Census Alfred Clifford is living with them aged 59 born in Brighton Sussex England 1880, a Sea Captain married to Charlottes's mother Anna (deceased). I would appreciate information about Alfred Clifford if anyone has any. Alfred Died 1973 in Arizona can anyone help me with any living relatives still living in the States. Thankyou

Canada / Searching for an ancester immigrated to St Catherines in 1947

Can anyone help me with information on my gguncle George McPhail, who landed at Halifax after travelling on the Ascania from Liverpool 20th December 1947, then lived in St Catherines. He was born 1897 in Wishaw Scotland and travelled with his wife Helen and son Matthew on that day. I cant trace him and would be grateful for any information as to his place and date of death as he didnt come back to Scotland. Please help me to find the Death of my family member who went to Canada 1947 leaving from Liverpool on 20th December. I have the passenger list but cant find out anything about him after he landed there and where he died. His name is George McPhail, he took with him his wife (Helen) with a son Matthew, I cant find any info. on them from family search and no marriage for Matthew, if anyone can enlighten me I would be most grateful.

Hi, I have a record in Family Search of a male born 1636 but no first name. The father is Henry but no mother named, I have a grandson of Henry called Alexander, and think this nameless son is called Issac, am I right? can anyone help me with this? The family name is Wyper (Whyper).

I am researching my family in Northumberland Can anyone help to find death certificate of Mary Downie (nee Miller) she was born 1785 England, thats all I have for her. Her husband is William Downie he Died 1866 North Shields. I am not familiar with this area, as the rest of the family are Scottish. Any help would be appreciated, thankyou

Please help me find the birth of my ancester. George McPhail was born 1853 in Cambusnethan. Parents Henry McPhail and Nancy (nee Laffterty) I have tried the Parish records "Pre 1855" to no avail, I found him 8 years old 1861 census in 1 Dimisdail Wishaw, also his brother Henry (written on the census as Henedry) who was 6 years old. I have all the info for the rest mentioned on the census. Thankyou in anticipation

Hi, Iam looking for an Elinor Blair (nee Walker) She is not at her daughters record of birth in 1825 in Kircubben Down. Her husbands name is James Blair. Jane (daughter) came to Scotland and is in 1841 Census in her own household then again in 1851 1861 8171 etc she died in 1886 in Wishaw Lanarkshire. Cant find any trace of her parents, did they come over from Ireland with her and died before the 1841 census or were they still in Ireland or maybe lived somewhere else in Lanarkshire. I would appreciate any info. Thankyou.
