Afternoon - can anyone help me with this problem, please.

Henry Goodsell appears on the censuses with a wife called Fanny, but I cannot find a marriage to her on FreeBMD, I have found an Emily  Waghorne but the marriage took place in Biddenden some way away from his roots, in October 1871.

Kent Completed Lookup Requests / Who was Stephen DANTON's wife
« on: Monday 07 October 13 16:13 BST (UK)  »
Hello - I have trying to find out who Stephen Danton was married to as in the 1851 census he is quoted as a widower with 9 year old son Stephen living in Old Workhouse, Nonington.

It would appear as he was born 1804 in Nonington but cannot find anything else out about him.  Somehow it would appear is he related to Thomas & Margaret Goodsell as they are living with him in 1851 and quoted and father & mother in law.

Any light you can shine on this matter would be most appreciated.

I have just come across an offer from Cam18 to look up names in Worth and nearby villages.   I am researching the Couzens (and the various spellings) to see if I can link them up with my tree.  I am also interested in Baker.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Can any help with my enquiry.  My pc has died and I do not know the name or details of the tree I was using.  It came free with a national newspaper in around 2005.

Can anyone help with where I might be able to obtain a copy to be installed on my new pc in  order for me to put back all the years of work I have been doing on several trees.

Many thanks in anticipation

London and Middlesex / HENOCQ - my French Ancestor
« on: Thursday 18 August 11 11:42 BST (UK)  »
Hello Rootschatters - I hope someone can help my search!

Blaire Louis Henocq b. 1788 Paris, a tailor, came to England and married Elizabeth Smith at Christ Church Southwark on the 16 June 1811.

They had three children, Joseph 1812, Louisa 1810 and Ann 1814.

I am trying to find out why Blaire Louis came to England in the first place and why did he return to Paris leaving his wife and children here.  He was at 3 Rue de Doyenne in 1822 that he died aged about 34.

Any thoughts?

London and Middlesex / Edward Cullen of Marylebone born c.1823-7
« on: Saturday 13 August 11 16:33 BST (UK)  »
Help would be appreciated to find out more about this ancestor of mine.  I believe he was born in the Marylebone area of London and I think he married a Sarah, they had a daughter Eleanor in 1849.

I think he was a butcher as this was mentioned on the marriage cert of Eleanor and I have found him in 1881 census as a retired butcher in the St Pancras district.

I cannot find him at any other time, or the marriage and her maiden name.  Also did they have any other children or did she die early?

Any response would be appreciated.

Hello

I am researching the above families who worked and lived in the villages of Worston, Downham, Chatburn, Padiham close to Clitheroe.

I have got back to John Lonsdale b.1791 in Mearley/Worston and married Susannah Smythies.

I would appreciate hearing from anyone who can help me firm up my information and also add to it either with descendants or ancestors.

Thank you in anticipation.
