Buckinghamshire Lookup Requests / Townside, Haddenham, Bucks.

I cannot get the individual scrapbooks in F.H.M. to accept pictures in JPEG format and find it necessary to save them in another format before I can instal them - any ideas?

Family History Beginners Board / Land Tax Records

Can you help me to understand the information contained in the 'Tax Records'? I find as follows:
Column 1  - Roll No.
Column 2 -  Rent
Column 3 - Name of Proprietor
Column 4 - Name of Occupier
Column 5 - Sums Assessed
My question is - Who paid what to who?

Still seeking information on soldier of Ox & Bucks L.I. who was killed by an exploding landmine on the beach at Saltfleetby, Lincs on the             25th May 1942

Lincolnshire / Saltfleetby wartime landmines

On the 21st May 1942 a soldier in the Bucks and Oxford L.I. was killed near the then existent 'Sea View Camp', at Saltfleetby, by treading on a 'beach' landmine, an inquest was held on the 28th May 1942. Have you any information on the his identity - any newspaper or other reports?  Any help gratefully received by johnl.
