Armed Forces / Churchill's Secret Army

Good morning
I'm trying to discover why the attached scroll was issued to Archibald Barrett and also his brother Charles A Barrett. They imply they died in service when they actually survived and lived well into old age, with one not dying until 1999. The brothers joined the Cornwall Branch of the Home Guard Auxiliary and were recruited into Churchill's Secret Army. There is plenty of information on the internet about this Secret unit but I'm more interested in why a scroll like this would be given, when the men were very much alive. Any help would be appreciated.

Is anyone able to help me date this photo of my husband's 2 x great grandmother, which was enhanced by a kind rootschatter earlier today.
She was born in Margate c1813 and died St Olave, London 1881. We thought it might be from the 1860s but if anyone knows better I'd appreciate their comments. She was widowed in 1858.
I believe the photographer is Ebeneezer Williams, which would make the photo much later as he wasn't born until 1851.

I have 2 more photos that I am hoping someone can help with. The couple are my husband's great grandparents, Francis Woolcock Tregonning and his wife Emily. The other is, I hope, my late father in law, Donald Cummings, but the quality is too poor to confirm this at the moment.

Essex Lookup Requests / Annie Harsant/Harsent

Is there anyone who could look up a baptism record for Annie Harsant/ Harsent who was born 1882/1883 in West Ham. Her parents were Joseph and Emma and all her siblings were baptised at St Saviours Walthamstow in a job lot 3 Nov 1881. I have been unable to find a birth record for her but I know she married George Maple in 1904, so she did exist. She appears on census returns as Annie and married as Annie.

Is there anyone who is able to look up a marriage in East Stonehouse for James Dewar and Susan(na) Strike 16/9/1835. I'm trying to confirm the groom's father's name, but I'm not sure if they were included in the Parish registers at that time.
