Lancashire / 1861 Census

Hi,

I'm looking for details of an ancestor of mine, his name is Enoch Ogden b. 1850 in Manchester, His parents were Benjamin Ogden and Mary Whitehead. I can find him on various census but not on the 1861 census.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi,

Can anyone help me with this. I have an ancester by the name of Joseph Boot, I believe he married a Charlotte Harris 1788 in Stokenchurch Oxfordshire (then).

I am looking for confirmation of this marriage so any help would be appreciated. I have searched on Ancestry, Family Search and Find My Past but to no avail.

Lancashire / Harold Ogden

Hi,

I am after help on finding details of my late uncle, "Harold Ogden". He was born as a twin with my late father on 22nd July 1915. The last detail I have is that he and my father both single at the time were living together as per the 1939 register. I understand from conversations with my father (many years ago) that they lost contact with each other. I never knew Harold and would like to complete the void in my family tree. Ideally I am looking for details of his marriage, if any and details of his death, burial or cremation.
Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

Hoping someone can help - I am trying to confirm a marriage betweem Elizabeth Fone b. 1863 and William Mitchell that in the indexes was in 1884 at Prestwich Lancashire. I have looked at the online records held on Ancestry, FindMyPast, Family Search, Lancashire BMD and FreeBMD but unable to link this marriage to Elizabeth's father. (Elizabeths' father was Edwin Fone b. 1839).

I would appreciate any information that can be provided.

Hi,

I would like a little help with my research. My uncle, (Stanley Brearley), was born in UK in 1923 he married in 1948 in Manchester to a German lady Else L A Buscher or Brinkmeyer.
As Stanley was with the British army they went back to Germany to live. I know they had 3 sons (LFW, WFJ and P).
The information I am looking for is the correct surname of Else, the record of Stanley's death which I understand to be in the 1970's and any details of birth or marriage of their sons.

Hi,
I would like some help please, I am researching an ancestor named Mary Willock(s) baptised 5th July 1806 at Blymhill Staffordshire. Her father is John Willock(s) and her mother is Martha Willock(s) nee Snead. Since I located the baptism I have not found either a marriage or death record for Mary. I have searched online at Ancestry, FamilySearch and Find My Past and now have ran out of options. Can anyone suggest where I can search. Any help would be appreciated.

Can anyone help, I am trying to locate records of the parents of Peter Ames b abt 1734 St Martin in the Fields. Peter d abt 1783 in Middlesex. I unfortunatley do not have any further information going back and not aware if there are any brothers or sisters. Any information is appreciated.

Hi, hope someone can help me out. I have found a baptism of one of my ancestors named Ely Brearley 17th July 1724 in the Baptisms for Ripponden with Rishworth. Ely's father is I think named John Brearley but no mention of Ely's mother. I have looked for a marriage in the same church for John but I can't find anything on Ancestry.

I would appreciate any help that I could get to identify Ely's mother.

Hi,

Can anyone help me out on this one. I am trying to find details of Ann Bowen born c 1815 in Hope Bowdler Shropshire. I am unable to find any other entries, but I think she may have died when she was only aged 1 or 2 of age but I cannot confirm this.

Ann's parents were Samuel Bowen and Mary Bowen.

I have checked for a marriage and an entry on the 1841 census but have drawn blanks.

Any info is appreciated.
