My husbands G Aunty, Laura Mavis Patterson married John James Dunn but she later took off and family say she took off
with a R A Allan Collector seen in Census at 127 Roberts st Maribyong,Essendon Victoria.

Looking through census records Laura wasn't always with Ronald..which I thought was strange since she was supposed to of ran away with him and was cremated at Altona.Died under Allan.

Also Ronald at times is seen with a Joyce.Boniface Allan..could this be his mother?? at 3/13 McCulloch st Maribyong Essendon. She is listed there with a Henry William Allan -Boilermaker is this his father?.
And a K. S. Allan-Girl friday..his sister??? perhaps??

And in another instance Laura Mavis Allan nee Patterson is shown at 11 Luluma St Maribyong-cleaner with a M Allan...Im assuming this is a man??

Could someone please help me establish the relationship/s between these "Allan" family members
And more importantly..what was Milroy to Laura if anything???..

Looked and can't seem to find anything..anything you could find to help me with this would be
most appreciative..thankyou..

Carl/Karl Frederick known as Charles Frederick Patterson.

Family lore states family from Lubeck Schleswig Holstein
Australian marriage certificate says Emma and Charles born Christian Bible Christian Church Ballarat.
Australian marriage certificate says parents of Charles are Mary Canute (I know this can be Danish or English but family says henry is German and know family spoke it. Henry supposed to be a farmer.

Here's my problem..Naturilisation papers no help just states what Charles was known as here.No birth year or date. Just says born Hamburg (Search in their records yeilded no results).,
Henry & Mary obviously anglisicised.

Charles didn't like Catholics.

Have no other information or pics have no idea who he was
,family is/was outside Australia

Some connection Also to aussie cyclist sid Patterson but don't know where or how??? As they're English I believe.

Think our german family (someone) german military links. Don't know where or who.

Query-has anyone got these pattersons,Brown or Burnside in their family?...

Dawn lorraine Patterson born March 1937...The eldest child of unknown Patterson and robert Burnside.Dawn was born in melbourne,victoria.She was brought up by her mothers mother,unknown Patterson nee Brown.Patterson nee Brown had married a German guy who changed the surname to Patterson,but don't know what from or what part of Germany he originated,we are told they spent some time in Camp pell in Victoria,where,he Patterson was supposed to of died?.Patterson nee brown later lived on Warandyte Rd at Research Victoria with a Charles William Riseley who was a leather dresser.Riseley is buried at Castlemaine cemetery and died in 1971.Dawn was the eldest of unkwn Patterson and Robert Burnside.Dawn, at 17 married George James Overton,son of George Percival Overton and Alice Grace Norman.Dawn died oc cancer and is buried at Warrnambool Vict cemetery,she died in 1989.George James Overton died in 1991 of a heart attack and is buried at Donald,victoria cemetary.Any family connections/rellies etc or info please contact me.Thank-you in advance. overton72.

Last but not least...maybe someone has a copy..of a photo of a Robert burnside a well dressed man standing by a surry/surrie with a building in the background..maybe a bank?...my hubbys mum had one when alive but it wad destroyed in a house fire...if anyone has this photo..my hubby would recognize it.
