I've been sent this poor copy of a photo of my x3 great-grandmother,i would like some idea of a date taken and possible age.she is i believe from Roscommon in County Mayo,is this traditional dress.
also if anyone has means of finding a record of birth or marriage in Ireland,she married a John Stanley,and i know of one daughter born in 1843 in new bridge ireland

i only have found a record for birth and christening for FLORENCE.in 1895 Willenhall christened at ST GILES church,born to William and Ellen Flatley who were boat people. did she go off to be a nun somewhere?a little mention in the family but nothing more to our knowledge.no death or marriage found.where would i search for names for nuns,by here name.not sure whether anyone can help

i apologise if i had put a post on about catherine grey, i known she is from Roscommon.married a john stanley and a daughter catherine grey in 1843 she was born in Newbridge i know nothing else about her,other than she is my ggg grandmother.if anyone else is connected to her i would love to learn more sorry its so brief

I've been looking for any flatleys currently living in and around Kidderminster,hoping that they maybe connected to the same Flatleys as mine.the previous generation came over from county mayo around 1870 and settled in and around kidderminster John Flatley my great grandfather

i have tried looking for any links with any flatleys in the hope i can make a connection,my great grandfather is JOHN FLATLEY 1836 from mayo,I've yet to find his origin possibly Knock,or Ballyhaunis
