Antrim / Looking for a death; surname Graham
« on: Thursday 21 March 13 12:14 GMT (UK)  »
I have drawn a blank on searching for the death of my G Grandmother; Helena Graham and wondering if anyone has any ideas of how or where I should look. I have searched the death records on Ancestry, FindMyPast, Family Search, Roots Ancestry and the burial records for Belfast City Council; her husband is buried in Dundonald cemetery.

What I know is she was alive in 1929 age was 66 living at Birkenhead, England, and sometime May 1929 onwards, I was told she returned to Belfast.

Facts I know
Born Helena Lyske 1863 Edenderry, Co Armagh, Ireland
Married 1 Jun 1885 to Robert Graham, Co Armagh, Ireland, Robert Graham dies 1st March 1928 and is buried at Dundonald cemetery. His address on the death certificate in 1928 was 3 Coburg St.

Thanks

Cheshire / WW1 prisoner of War Camp on Wirral
« on: Sunday 05 August 12 23:04 BST (UK)  »
I have found a connection with a person and I would like to find out more but its probably a long shot due to lack of name and any real facts.

What I know is a German was a prisoner of war and the camp was on the Wirral, after the war he married a woman who was from Frankby, I am guessing the marriage would be between 1919 - early 1920's I do not know if the marriage was in Germany or on the Wirral. They had a son I think the name is Gunther, I estimate he was born in the early 1920's. I don't know if he was born on the Wirral or Germany.

Has anyone got any idea how I could find out more?

Thanks

Cheshire / Unmarked grave at Flaybrick
« on: Wednesday 07 September 11 15:09 BST (UK)  »
I have had it confirmed that the grave of my Grandmother is at Flaybrick but has no memorial inscription, I don't have the grave number yet, but does anyone know if there is a map and if it is actually possible to locate an unmarked plot? They would be buried in the CofE part in 1929 and 1938.

Thanks

Ireland / Quinities religion- completed
« on: Sunday 05 June 11 14:17 BST (UK)  »
I wonder if anyone has any idea if they know of what I was told was some form of religion  called Quinities? I do not know the spelling, it is how I have heard it said; Quin - i - ties.

Person is Robert Graham born 1861 Portadown Co Armargh. On the 1901 census his religion is Methodist living at Falls, Co Antrim. On the 1911 census he is living at Ormeau, Down and his religion is: "A member of the body of Christ"

Apparently his wife was against this Quinities religion, and disliked him going to the meetings, I get the impression it may have been a small group of people meeting privately.

Antrim Completed Look up Requests / Harland & Wolf Belfast crane accident
« on: Wednesday 01 June 11 11:46 BST (UK)  »
I wonder if anyone knows how I can find out more about a relative who died in a crane accident I was told at Harland and Wolf Belfast. I am living in England so unable to visit PRONI.

His name is William Graham born 1898 at Belfast. I was told that he died shortly after being demobbed from WW1. There is a William Graham who died 1919, age 21, but I don’t know if it is him.

Thanks
