1911 census shows that Joseph Johnson was a boarder with Rebecca  and Alfred Swann at 15 Albert Street New Street, Cambridge. Eliza his wife has now died Jan 1910. Record checks show that Rebecca Swann was Nee Johnson and the daughter of Joseph. As well as their own 4 daughters and (her Dad Joseph), Rebecca and Alfred had a nephew with them:  Ernest Steven Johnson, aged 3 born Woodford, Essex.
I am looking to find out more about Ernest Steven Johnson as this relative is currently missing from tree and likewise are any Johnsons in Essex. I cant find a birth for Ernest Steven Johnson in Woodford? Would like to get a Birth Cert to see who his parents where.
Does antone have any ideas or suggestions. Thanks in avance. Dennis Johnson

Can anyone help shed light on Ernest Steven Johnson, Who child was he and how many other related johnson are there in Woodford so I can chase this sisde of the family in my tree. My tree of Johnsons are all Cambridge so far. Do I now have another load of Johnson to Chase in woodford?

Was searching for Saunders johnson cambridge and came across this dissapointing info on someone elses family tree. So stopped doing my tree for couple of weeks in shock and dissapointment!

There is a record in 1867 that Saunders Johnson was transported to Western Australia for ten years after conviction at Ipswich Assizes. He was convicted of robbery with violence.
All the info I can find on this person was when he left and the ship he was on.
I am struggling to find out if this actualy my relation or a similarity of name etc... How do I get more info on this person to add or discount him. Hoping hes not one of mine! Where did this person live, where was he from etc etc..... Struggling to find info on Saunders so makes me wonder if this is him.
My Saunders lived Cambridge and had a son Joseph Johnson 1857. He the son married Eliza Babister in 1880 and had a son Called Joseph Saunders Johnson.
I also cant find a birth record for Saunders Johnson (Cambridge)? Getting myself quite confused now.
