Roscommon / Looking for the Christian name of John Padden and Catherine Clark's fathers?

Hello everyone

I am hoping to be able to trace who I think are my 4 times great grandparents John Padden and Catherine Clarke.  Both appear to have been born in 1788 in Roscommon, probably registered in Boyle.

They were married in 1821 in Boyle and had one daughter Elizabeth (aka Bridget) Padden born circa 1818-1910.

Previously I was on the Sligo Board but going further back in time it appears some of my Ancestors were from County Roscommon.

I hope I am correct in changing Message Boards.

Any help with this would be very much appreciated.

Hello all

Please could anyone tell me who was the mother of Mary Ann Crofton born 1841 in Broher County Sligo?

Mary's father was Edmund Crofton born 1815 in Broher but I cannot find the name of her mother or a marriage for her parents.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Sligo / Looking for the Surnames of Travelling People in Co. Sligo.

Hello everyone.

I have found so many surnames of my Ancestors going back as far as the late 1700's and am almost sure from what I have been told that there could be some family members who were either Travelling People, Gypsies or Tinkers, (perhaps they are all the same).

The areas I am interested in are Ballinafad, Brougher, Derrygolagh and Riverstown.

I would be very grateful for any help.

She married Patrick McDonagh born 1785 in Aghanagh.

Sligo / Looking for the birth and death records of Eugenii Conlon.

Hello all

Can anyone please help me with the birth and death dates for Eugenii Conlon?  His wife was Mariae (Mariam) Foley b1782  d1870. 

They married in 1806 and had seven children.  Bridget b1807, Martinum b1808, Mariam b1811, Catherine b1813, Dominicum b1816, Winifred b1819 and Michael b1822.

I think the area was Aughanagh.

Any lead on the missing dates would be gratefully received.

Sligo / Who was Priscilla Morrisroe's Mother?

Please could anyone help me in tracing the mother of Priscilla Morrisroe?

I believe Priscilla was born in 1820 and died in 1900 and remained unmarried.

I believe her father Patrick Morrisroe  was born 1800 and died 1884.  Probate records show he was a Shopkeeper in Ballinafad Co. Sligo and he left his estate of £150.00 to his Spinster daughter Priscilla.

I have somewhere in my records an Indenture Document where I think it was a Patrick Morrisroe who gave so much money to I think a Patrick Clarke to set him up in business.  I will have to look this up to confirm.

I think all are my relatives.

Any help on this would be very gratefully received.

Hello

I am looking for the name of my great great grandfather Michael Morrisroe's mother.

Michael was born in 1818, died 1901 Templevanny area.  He married Elizabeth Padden born 1818 died 1910.  The family were RC.

I believe his father was Patrick Morrisroe but I cannot trace the name of his mother.

Any help at all would be very gratefully received.

Sligo / Searching for help with Padden and Clark Families of Co. Sligo/Co. Roscommon.

Hello all

I wonder if anyone could please help me to fill in some missing gaps? 

I managed previously to get back to my 2 x great grandparents who were Elizabeth (Bridget) Padden b1818 - d1910 and Michael Morrisroe b1818 - d1901, both probably born Templevanny area of Co. Sligo but most likely registered in Boyle Co. Roscommon.  Their denomination was RC.

That was as far as I got, but now I have managed to go back another generation to find that Elizabeth's parents were John Padden b1788  and Catherine Clark b1788. 

I would really appreciate any information no matter how little on the Padden and Clark families.  I am interested in where they were actually born and whether they were Farmers as were my later relatives.

Any information would be very much appreciated.

Yorkshire (West Riding) / Looking for the Marriage of John Noble and Lydia? early 1800's Kirkburton Area.

Hello all

Could anyone please help me find the marriage year of John Noble born 1780 in Thurstonland Kirkburton area to Lydia (cannot find her maiden name) born 1786 in Thurstonland. John died in 1857 and is buried at All Hallows Parish Church Kirkburton.  Lydia died in 1860 but cannot find her burial.   

On the 1841 and 1851 Census he is listed as a Farmer living at Marsh Hall with his wife Lydia and family. 

I am drawing a blank on Lydia's maiden name and their year of marriage.

If anyone could help, I would be very grateful.
