I was wondering if someone could help locate the above brothers in 1841 Census. Their parents were Samuel and Mary (Colesby) Burgess.

James Burgess was Bapt. 19/11/1820 at Rugeley Staffordshire. He was living at Bell Barn Rd Birmingham on 31/10/1849 when he married Sarah Abbott at St Martins Birmingham. In 1851 Census he is living with Sarah and Frank 8mths.

Samuel Burgess was Bapt. 19/5/1823 Rugeley Staffordshire. He was living in Birmingham on 28/4/1846 when he married Sarah Collins at Parish Church Aston Warwick. In 1851 he is living in Birmingham with Sarah and William 3 b London Middlesex and James 1 b London Middlesex.

George Burgess was Bapt. 8/6/1828 Rugeley Staffordshire. He was living in Edgbaston on 12/8/1850 when he married Sarah Collins at Parish Church Edgbaston Warwick. Unable to find family in 1851 but would have had Sarah and William b1850 Birmingham with him .In 1861 he is living in Derby Derbyshire with Sarah and six children.

Inverness / John Mccluand/Mary Mcgregor
« on: Friday 03 August 12 07:54 BST (UK)  »
Hoping someone may help me to trace John McCluand and Mary McGregor who are listed as parents on their son John McCluand's (My gggrandfather)death certificate Walcha NSW Australia 1898 age 55.John jnr is shown as being born Loch Abbarto More Scotland. The certificate states that he lived in NSW for 25yrs and prior to that 29yrs in Victoria Australia. This would have him arriving in Australia about 1844.I have been unable to find any record of John snr and Mary Mccluand arriving or living in Australia or any record of John jnr prior to his marriage to Catherine Carr in Walcha NSW in 1882.The spelling of the surname may have changed over time. Thanks Djde
