Could someone do a photo restoration for this photo taken at the Henry A. Chapman Studio?

I have a second photo of the same person taken at Siedle Bros. that is in better condition. (Any touch ups on this photo would also be appreciated).

I have a photo of two young girls posing at the Chapman studio in Swansea, Wales.

The backing of the photo suggests that it was printed in the 1880's. Would anyone care to comment on the clothing and photographic style?

Is this a reprint of an older negative? ???

I recently received a series of JPEG’s from a distant relative who scanned the images from an old Victorian family photo album. The head of the family was William Jowett, a prominent accountant, who lived in Morriston, near Swansea Wales. I was hoping to date some of these pictures in order to identify the family members in the photos.

The first photo shown here was taken of a 17 year old girl at the Henry A. Chapman studio in Swansea. The backing suggests that it is an 1870’s photo. William Jowett had two teenage daughters at that time, Charlotte Anne: born 5 Mar 1857 and Clara Catherine: born 18 Oct 1860.

Based on the clothing and photographic style, is this a photo of Charlotte in 1874-75 or is it Clara in1877-78?

London & Middlesex Completed Lookup Requests / William JOWETT 1841 Census
« on: Sunday 07 May 06 18:30 BST (UK)  »
I'm looking for a William Jowett who married  Ann Jones in the district of St Luke.

Apr May Jun 1842 Marriage Index
JOWETT    William, St Luke, 2 261
JONES  Ann, St Luke, 2 261

William Jowett was born in Long Eaton, Derby circa 1818. His wife Ann was approximately the same age.

Is there any households in Middlesex during 1841 that have a William Jowett or an Ann Jones?

Peter  :)
