I wonder if anyone can help me please

I am looking for the marriage of Isaac and Fanny, on their Naturalization paper it says they were subjects of Russia having been born in Zawosht(?) Lublin.
I would also like to know when they came to England, their eldest son is 10 in 1891 and was born in Russia but their next son is 8 and was born in London.

Europe / Fortunato Savini and Constanza

I'm helping with a friends tree and her great grandparents came to England, in the 1891 census it says that Fortunato Savini and his wife Constanza along with their daughter Guiseppina that they were all born in Milan, Italy. I would love to be able to give some more information. A wedding date, maiden name, birth dates, anything would be great.

Family History Beginners Board / Lunatic asylums and workhouse

Hi all
I'm wondering if anyone can help find out more on why Domenico Poggio is taken into the London workhouse in March 1912 and he subsequently dies in there and Fortunato Savini is admitted to Banstead Lunacy asylum in June 1895 and dies in August 1895. Were these places used as hospitals?

Hi I'm looking for any information on Domenico Poggio and Giuseppina Savini that is available please.
They were married in London, 1906 and it is thought they came over to England in 1902 from Turin (?).
I am looking into the family for a friend and there is nothing known about them as their daughter married into a family that consequently disowned them so any information would be wonderful.

Can anyone help me decipher the 1871 census for Isaac Bellamy born 1832 (sorry I don't know how to attach it to here). These are the jobs of 2 of his daughters, would be grateful if anyone can decipher the writing to tell me the full job title or just let me know what the jobs may have been.

The Common Room / Union Workhouse

Hi,

I'm intrigued!!!! I'm looking into a family tree for a friend and for the 1st time have come across a family being in Monmouth Union Workkhouse. I know very little about workhouses.

In 1851 Harriett Evans is described as a pauper and is in the workhouse with her children, Elizabeth - 9, William - 11 and on a different page Mary Ann - 3 (I can't read what it says next to mary Ann's entry!

By 1861 they are out of the workhouse and there is another child but still no husband around. ( I also don't have enough info to find a marriage). They are in Symonds Yat and Harriett is a widow, I think!

How would they have managed to get themselves out of the work house? Just curious really

Herefordshire Lookup Requests / Marriage of Thomas Lewis to Eliza

Hi I wonder if anyone could look up a marriage for me please:

Thomas Lewis born @ 1847 married Eliza ? born @ 1849. In 1881 the family say they were born in Leominster however in 1861 it says Holmer. ( I can't find them in 1871).

On Ancestry there are quite a few trees that have these people in but it says Eliza's surname as Lewis and I can't find that.
Any help/advice gratefully received
