  I am looking for the baptism of my great grandfather Thomas McCabe.He was born in 1848 or 1849( I have both years in family documents)
   His family were living in Castlecomer.His parents were John McCabe & Ellen McCabe nee Butler.He was the youngest in a family of 8 children.

   Hi everyone,
I am doing some research on one of my convict ancestors .He was transported to Australia for counterfeiting in Scotland.His occupation is listed as a Harrier .I have looked it up but it has different meanings.What meaning would be applicable during the early 1800's .Thanks Chinka

I am after any information on her background.She was transported on Henry Wellesley in 1835.Married to fellow convict John Brennan.

She was charged at Stirling Court of Judiciary & transported to Australia on George Hibbert in 1834 arriving in 1835.She was said to be a native of Ayr.Does anyone have any info on any Lochie families during this time frame in these areas.

I am interested in any info anyone may have on this family.James Henry wife Susannah lived in Wollombi during this time & had a family.Their daughter Mary Ann married Thomas Tester in Maitland in 1877.

Kildare / Ellen Fitzpatrick born abt 1818 Kildare

I am searching for any info on my ggggrandmother Ellen Fiitzpatrick born abt 1818 Kildare.She was                sentenced to 7yrs transportation on 6th June 1837 at Meath for stealing.She arrived in Australia in 1838 on  convict ship Diamond.She married fellow convict Justus Wilson Hudson in Port Macquarie NSW in 1845 they had 7 children.She died at Kempsey NSW in1889. I havent any info before Ausralia but have family tree in Australia.Have no info on her parents or any other family in Ireland.Any help would be appreciated.

Has anyone got any info on my grt,grt Grandmother she died about 1853 apparently in Belfast before the

family went to Australia.She is called by three names in family tree Hilda ,Ellen& Helena as far as I know

she was known as Ellen.My grt ,grt Grandfather was John McCabe the son of James &Mary.
