Carlow / PATRICK LENNON - BUTCHER
« on: Thursday 21 March 13 08:53 GMT (UK)  »
I have run in to a brick wall and am hoping for some help.

Patrick Lennon was a butcher in Tullow.  I believe his shop was burnt - and he died - in 1869.  griffith suggests he was living in Tullow in 1850s.

Would anyone have further information?

Thanks

Down / children of Alexander MCKEOWN
« on: Tuesday 12 February 13 22:18 GMT (UK)  »
Alexander McKeown married Eliza Ashwood in Scarva Presb in 1857.  from what I can find they had the following children:
William 1859, James 1872, Robert 1874, Eliza 1876 and Mary 1879.
The 'gap' between the first two children of 13 years seems a little strange.
Am I missing something obvious? ???

Any help would of course be appreciated.

Antrim / Charles Seeds Belfast/Carrickfergus
« on: Monday 04 February 13 23:01 GMT (UK)  »
I am searching for information on the Seeds line in my tree. Charles was born in 1796 and baptised at St Annes in Belfast. However grave records indicate he was born in Carrickfergus. He was a tallow candle maker in Belfast High Street 1805-1819. His father was Richard and mother Jane. Her maiden name is unknown. However Charles may have had a bother Richard Davis Seeds (B.1800)- and I am guessing this is a clue to his mothers maiden name.
Would anyone have any further information on this line?
Thanks

Ayrshire / Rudolph KLANG of Ardrossan
« on: Sunday 22 January 12 23:44 GMT (UK)  »
In March 1872 Rudolph Klang married Catherine George.  They had a daughter Amelia (born Dec 1873).  After a few years they moved to Belfast where Amelia married John Henry Bush.

If anyone could provide help in identifying the parents/grandparents of Rudolph or Catherine, it would be really appreciated.

Derry (Londonderry) / Martha GAGE of Coleraine
« on: Wednesday 18 January 12 11:39 GMT (UK)  »
I am trying to find information on the parents of Martha Gage.

She married John Brouster in October 1846.

I am aware that there appears to be a number of branches of the Gage family in the Coleraine area, but am having difficulty in identifying Martha's line.

Any help appreciated!

Armagh / James MCKEOWN - Derrytagh
« on: Friday 13 January 12 17:25 GMT (UK)  »
Any help anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.

I am trying to trace information on James McKeown a fisherman from Derrytagh.  I am guessing he was born around 1810 and was married to Katherine McConachie.

I know of 2 sons - Robert (born 1843 and married Maria Abraham), and Samuel (born 1835 and married Elizabeth Cassells).

Any help with regards to other children/parents would be fantastic!
