John Tanner  was married Susanna Mitchell on May 14 1780 at St Gluvius church in Penryn, Cornwall. They had a son called John Smith Tanner who was married (to Elizabeth Jose) at the same church in 1803.
I am intersted in who John Tanner's parents and grand parents were and how many children he had and where/when he died?

« on: Tuesday 10 January 12 06:30 GMT (UK)  »
I am interested to find how John Tanner died in Ditchling in 1801?
He was born in Beckley after his parents moved there from Ditchling.
He had previously been living in Penryn, Cornwall, where he was listed as a soldier  and was married to Susanna Mitchell of Falmouth.
I would also be interested in finding out about his father's untimely death in Beckley in 1760, his name was also John (born 1723, Ditchling) his wife was Elizabeth Barnes (b.1725) who died in nearby Henfield in 1772.

His father, also John was born in 1812 and his mother was Mary Donaher born in 1814. (married 1833). I am particularly interested in their occupations, deaths and siblings.
