Midlothian / Janet Sharp
« on: Monday 27 June 22 00:46 BST (UK)  »
I have tried for several years to find more on my 3xgreat grandmother. Her name was Janet Sharp born c 1786 possibly Stow. She married David Smeal/Smail around 1805 although no marriage has been found. They had 7 children Elizabeth 1806,Margaret 1807,Archibald 1809,David 1816,Adam 1817,Walter 1820,Jean 1824.By scottish naming patterns it would seem her mother would be Elizabeth and father Adam? Janet died before 1841.I have tried ancestry and Scotlandspeople but no luck at all,any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks Kate
