Good evening all!

I was wondering if anyone could help me with my Great Great Grandmothers Maiden surname, for a few years now I've been trying to find any records for what her family name was before she got married.

She married a George Pratt 01/01/1867 Leighton Buzzard - 1963 Leighton Buzzard in 1891
Her name was Louise ? 05/11/1866 Leighton Buzzard - 13/03/1948 Biggleswade

Good Evening!

I have recently been on a database trying to find any records on the Vienonen family of Ypäjä, Finland and came across a document that seems to have the name on the second line with his first name being "Juka" from the looks of it. Does anyone have an idea on what it might say? or could i just be over looking into it? My Finnish isn't the best so any pointers will be appreciated!

Good Evening!

I have been researching my great grandmothers siblings as she was the youngest (born in 1922) and had very little contact with them. I have spoken to her recently about her brother Eric Allan who was born 1910 and died 1930 from a unknown cause of death but during these last few days i have came across a Thomas Allan born 1912 and who passed in 1926 also from an unknown cause. Thomas Allan is also unknown to my Great grandmother and i was wondering where i can find any hard evidence of his relation, i was thinking about contacting the graves office in Gainsborough but can't seem to find any contact details. Does anybody have any ideas on where i can look? The brothers parents details are:

Thomas Allan - Born 3rd May 1887, Keighley, Yorkshire

Olive Mary Williams - Born 1878, Gainsborough, Lincolnshire

I am currently researching the Finnish side of my partners family and can't seem to get any further than her Maternal Grandmother Ella Vienonen who was taken over to Sweden as a War Refugee. I have for her family so far: I wonder if anybody could help me out in where i can go next to find her mothers maiden name and her fathers Details

Ella Vienonen - Born 1935, Ypäjä, Etela-Suomen Laani, Finland 

Her brothers:
Urho Johannes Vienonen - Born 2nd April 1922, Ypäjä, Etela-Suomen Laani, Finland
                                      Died 20th December 1943, Lake Segozero, Republic of Karelia, Russia

Tuukka Uolevi Vienonen - Born 22nd August 1930, Ypäjä, Etela-Suomen Laani, Finland
                                     Died 3rd September 1977, Loimaa, Lansi-Suomen Laani, Finland

Her mother:
Aino Emilja (Unknown maiden name) - Born 19th May 1901, Lansi-Suomen Laani, Finland
                                                        Died 4th April 1975, Loimaa, Lansi-Suomen Laani, Finland

Her father:
Unknown - Although it is rumoured he was Killed in the Winter War

Her fathers known brother:
Urho Emil Vienonen - Born 15th May 1897, Ypäjä, Lansi-Suomen Laani, Finland
                               Killed 13th May 1918, Toijalan, Akaa, Etela-Suomen Laani, Finland
Uhro Emil was a convicted member of the Red Guards by the Finnish State, Shot Dead in Toijalan Vankileiri

Hello!

I know it is a long shot but I am trying to find a father of two children from Finland who was killed in 1940 fighting the Russians. The two children where:

Urho Johannes Vienonen - born 2/4/1922, Ypäjä, Tavastia Proper, Suomi (Finland)
Killed 20/12/1943, Seesjärvi, Karhumäen piiri, Suomi (now Russia)

(*) daughter Vienonen - Born 1935, Ypäja, Tavastia Proper, Suomi (finland) (was sent to Sweden during the Second World War as a child refugee)

Mother - Aino Vienonen born around 1902 +- 4 years and lived in Ypäjä

Possible Father - Sem Armas Vienonen born 5/7/1902, Kiikala, Varsinais-Suomen Maakunta, Suomi

Killed 8/3/1940, Tali, Karjalankannas, Suomi (now Russia)

Is there anyway I can find the father of these children?

Hi

Thanks to everyone for the Colouring in of my photo in my last post. I have had this photo for a number of years and i never knew who it was (i always thought i was my great grandmothers Cousin) but it turns out that its my great grandmother in the 30's-40's. I know that she had Brown/Black Hair and Blue Eyes.
