1841 Census William's occupation Blacksmith, living in Woolsthorpe

William died 10 Nov 1845 Woolsthorpe aged 68

I am looking for my 5th Great Grandmother Jane (Sarah) WALLER born abt. 1789 Whitby...........Father William WALLER - Mother Unknown possible surname LYTTLE.

Jane married Thomas WARD 1813 in Lythe and they had 10 children all baptized in Lythe then no. 11 who was born in Canada after they migrated in abt. 1832.

The nearest I can find is Jane WALLER bap. 3 Feb 1791 Guisborough father William WALLER, but I am unable to confirm her mother

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Does anyone have my William Westwood in their tree?

William was born 18 Jun 1814 White Roding, son of Joseph Westwood & Beatrice Wolfe
siblings - Dinah, Elizabeth, Joseph, Lewis, James, Jane, Anne, Emma & Susannah

1841 census show William living in White Roding with his mother, elder brother James and other siblings

1848 Whites Directory White Roding has brother James, publican Whalebone Inn.............no mention of William

1861 census no sign of William in White Roding

The 1851 Census would be really good at this stage

Canada / Guardianship in Quebec

does anyone know how I can find out about someone being appointed guardian of his younger siblings in Quebec please

Parents are William & Mary Sharp...William died 1811, Mary died 1815

Their eldest son James was appointed guardian of his younger brothers Robert & John, I have a date of October 16, 1816

Essex Lookup Requests / Essex Record Office

If anyone is planning a visit to the Essex Record Office, would they mind copying (if possible) some documents that I have found on the SEAX site please :)

I am unable to access the documents as I only have an internet membership and need to visit the office to upgrade my membership................the problem is that Essex is an awful long way from Australia  :-\
