Dear all,I am trying to find the parents of an Elizabeth Trumper who had 3 children in Kingsland,Herefordshire:

1)John Trumper baptised 8/june 1806

2)Elizabeth Trumoer baptised 20/nov/1808

3)Mary Trumper baptised 20/nov/1808(I assume that she was a twin of Elizabeth)

On the 3 records it just gives the mother as Elizabeth Trumper

I found several likely parents of Elizabeth from birth records:

1)20/april 1772 in Leominster parents James Trumper and Elzabeth

2)christened 11/april 1785 in Eardisland,Herefordshire parents William Trumper and Sarah Price

3)Christened 11/jan/1782 in Humber,Herefordshire parents Walter Trumper and Mary

4)christened 6/nov/1776 in Pembridge ,Herefordshire parents Thomas Trumper and Elizabeth Passey.

Eardisland,Pembridge,and Leominster are all 3 miles or less from Kingsland.

I would be grateful of any information on any of the four Elizabeth records if they married t other people so that I can eliminate them.

I looked through the findmypast newspaper records and found a record of a death of an Elizabeth Trumper in 1812 in shobden,Herefordshire who was pregnant.It was initially thought that she died of poisoning but a verdict of visitation of God was the finding.kind regards to all Ivorglyn

Dear all,The marriage of David and Elizabeth was in 1817(4/nov) in Llanycil.There was a David Pugh b.Llanycil 9/june 1786 with parents Hugh and Ann.On the 1851W census  there is a David Pugh(aged 61)living at Cynythog Bach,Bala a farmer of 180 acres and he is down as b.Llanycil(living with wife Elizabeth(also b.Llanycil aged 58).David has a son Hugh(aged 33).On the 1861W census still living at Cynythog David Pugh is down as aged 74 b. Llanycil with wife Elizabeth(68).There was also a Hugh Pugh b.1767 in Llanycil with parents Wm and Margaret.I would be grateful for any information of this Pugh family and if my findings are accurate and whether there was a child Owen b.~1811 by Elizabeth Edward(s) before she married..kind regards..ivorglyn

Dear all,I am researching the 'Soward' family in Tredegar.On the 1841W census they lived at Colliers Row in Tredegar,Bedwellty.The family is(all Soward):Ann 55,Edward 15,Thomas 15,Margaret 20.In 1851(still at colliers Row) are:Ann Soward 67 b.Carmarthenshire Llanelli,Margaret 31,and Thomas 25(both born Tredegar).Edward Soward married Jane Williams in Abergavenny reg in 1846(quarter 2).In 1861 living at Bridge Street Tredegar are Edward Sowards 39,Jane 35,William 14,Ann 12,Jemima 3,Edward 6,and Thos John 4.Ann Soward b.~1850 married Thomas Thomas on 21/feb/1871 in Bedwellty
I am trying to find out who the parents of Edward,Thomas,and Margaret are.I assume that Ann b.~1784 Llanelli was their mother.I am looking for any marriage between an 'Ann' and a Soward.One marriage I found was in 1821 in Bedwellty between Thomas Seaward and Ann Jewell.
I believe Thomas Soward(b.~1826) married Sarah Kinsey on 4/sept/1854 in Aberystruth.I also found a death record for Ann Soward in 1860 Abergavenny.If anyone recognises this family I would be most grateful for any extra info.Unfortunately there are no parish records available on line before 1800 in Llanelli,Carmarthenshire..kind regards..ivorglyn

I have been researching the Gundy family from Whichurch for many years.Walter Gundy and Betty Davis married 6/oct/1788 in Whitchurch.They had 8 children:John b.1788(my ggggrandfather),Walter b.1791(married Sarah Clayton 18/feb/1823 in Whitchurch),Thomas b.1793 married Mary Lewis on 2/mar/1819 in Tretire,Sarah b.1797Tretire married Benjamin Hunt in 1827 Whitchurch,Joseph b.1801,Henry b.1805 married Jane Williams,Elizabeth b.1807 in Whitchurch/Tretire,and Esther who married Thomas Galder on 9/june/1835 in Whitchurch.
Walter b.~1791 and Sarah Clayton had 5 children:Caroline b.1825,Walter b.~1827,Esther b.1830,Mary b.1831, and James b.1834.
I believe that Walter b.~1827 married  Ellen Eyre(born Gloucestershire and on the 1841Census living in Clifton) in Crickhowell in 1854.They had 5 children:Mary Ann Gundy b.Crickhowell(Llangenny(i)1856,Charlotte Ann b.1864 Crickhowell,Walter Thomas b.1866 Crickhowell,Lucy Esther(Hester) b.1868 b.Crickhowell and married in 1892 in Monmouth reg. to either John Llewellyn or Charles Miles Morgan,and Elizabeth Clara Gundy born 1870 in Monmouth reg.
I am trying to find out what happened to all of the children of Walter and Ellen.I found a death record for a Walter Thomas Gundy for 8/nov/1916 in Putney Vale cemetry in Wandsworth Surrey but there is no age given.I also found an 1881E census record for a Walter Gundy b.1867 in Dartford,Kent staying at "Little boys home",South Darenth,Horton-Kirby.I would be grateful if anyone has any information for the children of Walter Gundy and Ellen Eyre.The family moved back to Whitchurch and are on the 1871E census..kind regards Ivorglyn.
