I have traced my 4x grandfather, Patrick McIlroy b 1812 back to Creeve, Duneane Parish, Co. Antrim, Ireland. He married Sarah McGill b 1813 of Aghaloughan, Drummaul (Randalstown) Parish, Co. Antrim, Ireland on Jan 6, 1830 in Randalstown Roman Catholic Church.

They had three children in Ireland, Nancy (Agnes) b 1831, Charles b 1833 & Sarah b 1835. They then move to Scotland and show up on the 1841 Scotland Census in Anderston, Lanarkshire Glasgow. They then had four more children, Jane b 1841, James b 1847, Elizabeth b 1849 and my 3x grandfather Archibald b 1852.

Patrick b 1812 died in Scotland in 1871, his parents are listed as Cornelius McIlroy & Helen Keeney (could be Heeney) on his death record.

Sarah b 1813 died in Scotland in 1874, her parents are listed as Arthur McGill & Sarah Hill on her death record.

Their children Sarah, Charles & James died in Scotland. Sarah married a Joseph Kenovan in 1864. Charles & James never married.

Their daughter Nancy (Agnes) is my brick wall. She is out of the family residence as of 1851 Census but I haven't been able to find a marriage or death record that confirms what happens to her either way.

Their children Jane, Elizabeth and Archibald all immigrate to Fall River, Massachusetts at various times between 1875 & 1886.

My gr gr gr grandfather Patrick McIlroy was born abt 1811 in Northern Ireland. Married Sarah McGill in 1830 in Randalstown, Antrim, Ireland. Immigrated to Glasgow late 1830's died in Anderston, Glasgow in 1871. Statutory register death record shows parents as Cornelius McIlroy & Helen Keeney. Looking for other siblings of Patrick's. Either in Ireland or Scotland. Have info on him, his wife and all his children etc etc but trying to branch out.
