Alfred Burton was born in 1868 at Towrang N.S.W and do not know what happened to him. His parents were William Burton 1834 England died 1919 Boxhill Victoria and Eliza Rogers born England 1835 died 19191 Boxhill Victoria. They did not get married till Dec 1871 N.S.W after all their children were born. Children were William 1856 -1924 Sarah Ann 1861-1953 John 1864-1934 and Eliza 1866-1948 all born different places in N.S.W. Thanks Take Care Lynette

hello I would really love to find out what happened to Gladys Marie Barrot born 1905 Korumburra Vic and her sister Sylvia Grace Barrot born 1908 Korumburra. Their parents were Francis Aheir Barrot and Ellen Winifred Bailey. Most of the family died at Dandenong Victoria. I have a lovely old postcard from 1920s from Gladys Marie to my Mum they were cousins. Take Care Lynette

I need help with Lavinia Cave born 1838 Somerset Father Abraham Mother Sarah. I can see a marriage 1864 Chard Somerset husband either Robert Halfyear or Frederick Francis Berridge. I cannot see her in the 1871 Census with either surname. Thanks for any help Take Care Lynette

Hello Thomas Joseph Dyke died 1893 and is buried at London Rd Cemetery. Is there a way to tell if there is anyone else with him. Thomas was a Jeweller but by the 1891 census he is blind. His wife Hannah died 1902 Warwickshire and they had 7 children. Thanks Lynette

WWII In Memoriam / James Frederick Elmore died 23rd May 1945 Ambon Indonesia.

Private James Frederick Elmore born 2nd March 1922 at Korumburra Victoria died as a Prisoner of War at Ambon 23rd May 1945. Escaped from Ambon with another prisoner Frederick Schaefer. Frederick was caught and executed. James hid for longer but was found and died the next day. James parents were James Frederick Elmore and Mary Ann Elmore nee James.  Lest We Forget

WW1 In Memoriam / Lance Corporal Thomas Henry Elmore 6th Batallion AIF Service Number 3733

My Great Uncle born 1893 grew up in Korumburra Victoria died 20th Sept 1917 Ypres Belgium. Died at the Battle of Meningate. His brothers William Albert and George Stewart Elmore went to WW1 came home safely. Both also went to WW2 altering their age and both received the Military Medal. Parents names were James Frederick Elmore born in West Winch Norfolk and Julia Attewell Stewart born Ballarat Victoria.  LEST WE FORGET
