Hi, I am trying to work out where Ferry Rd & Fore Close were in the 1930's. Have found my Dads family living there, but they no longer exist. Thanks.

Hi, Have been researching my Dads history and have hit a brickwall. Have found his registration in 1909, which names his Mum, and the RCE which names his Dad. I have found his Mum on the 1911 census living on her own, and his Dad on a vessel, but cant find my Dad anywhere on that census. I think he may have been given up, but he had his birth certificate, and I assume if he had been adopted his name would have been changed (not sure though). Weirdly though he was always known as Dave! If he was in the poorhouse would he be under his own name? Any help would be really appreciated.
