Mayo / Help Please! Marriage John Lang & Bridget Devany 1833

Hi,

Please could anyone help?
I have found a marriage for 2 of my ancestors:

John Lang and Bridget Devany on 10 February 1833. I do not know which church this is from. The only information I have from the register is that it was in Kilmoremoy. Also Bridget Lang is listed on the register as coming from Smashee. Could this be Quignashee?
If anyone has any information regarding the parents of either of these please could you help?
I believe from the UK Census returns that they both listed their DOB as 1813.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

I am trying to trace Sarah Ramsden. She appears on the 1891 Census as Sarah Holmes along with her husband George Holmes (B:1861) in Sheffield. The census lists Sheffield as the place of Birth for both of them.

There is a marriage to a George Holmes to a Sarah Ramsden in Sheffield in 1882 on BMD.

However, I can't find her on the 1881 or 1871 Censuses. There is a Sarah Ramsden on the 1881 Census but this gives her DOB as 1863. Also I can't find a record of a birth for a Sarah Ramsden in Sheffield in either 1865 or 1863.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

I am trying to trace the parents of Rose Lydia Saddington. She was born Sept. 1/4 1888 in Gainsborough. She appears on the 1891 Census (Rose, no Lydia) as a boarder living with a George and Emily Foster. By the 1901 Census she is living with the same family but appears as Adopted.

Any help would be appreciated.

I am trying to find the parents of a William Marshall. The only thing I know about him was that he married Emma Crapper Mar 1/4 1912 in Penistone. As a long shot I was hoping the Parish register of the marriage may hold some details.

I am trying to trace the parents of Violet Eayres B: Jun 1/4 1916 Ecclesall Bierlow. She married George Austin Marshall in 1947.

She appears on BMD but I can find no record of her on Familysearch.

Hi,

I am trying to find the parents of Amy Florence Barrow. She appears on the 1871 Census living with her Grandparents aged 10:

Thomas Barrow 73 Head
Hannah Barrow 70 Wife
Amy F. Barrow 10 G.Daughter B: Manchester

On the 1861 Census Thomas & Hannah have a daughter Mary F Barrow living with them aged 16, so it may be that Amy Florence is Mary's daughter but I don't know.

Amy Florence is listed on BMD as Jun 1/4 1861 Manchester

Any help would be appreciated.

Joseph Fletcher (B:1823) to Mary Ann Gasquin (B:1831) married in Nottingham June Quarter 1850.

Hi,

I am trying to find Samuel Fletcher B:1952 Retford, Nottinghamshire.

He appears on the 1891 Census with his wife Ann and also on the 1881 Census, married to Ann. On the 1871 Census he appears living with his brother Joseph and Joseph's wife Elizabeth.

However, I can find no trace of him on the 1861 Census. His brother Joseph appears as a boarder living with William and Harriett Clower.

Any help would be appreciated.
