Can anyone help with this photo, the light has intruded into the image, presumably taken with a fairly unsophisticated camera.

Many thanks
Ian

Can anyone help please.

Attached is an image I have taken of my Grandad's picture in army uniform. Unfortunately it hadn't been stored well and its age have caused it to fade and start to disintegrate.

I know its a big ask, especially the condition that it is in, but would be extremely grateful if anyone can help. This is the oldest picture I have of him taken approx 1914 when he joined the Devonshire Regiment.

Kind regards
Ian

My grandfather's elder sister emigrated to Canada maybe in early 1920's. She either married just before leaving England or when in Canada to a Mr Palmer (first name unknown).

She was known in the family as Doll. Do you know any details? I know she had a son, George (deceased).

My great grandfather was Tom Marriott b. 1866 in Whittlesey. He married Mary Ward in 1889 - are you descendants? If so or know about the family I would like to hear from you.

London and Middlesex / Chapman in London 1896

My grandmother Mildred Chapman was born in London in 1896, exact location unknown. Her father's name was George and worked as a train driver. My family believe that her mother was named Susan or variant of. I wish to trace her family line but have been unable to progress this using the Ancestry website. Any help would be much appreciated.
