Not very fond of the “bare your soul” aspect of Facebook but was forced to join to access family photos. I do not have so-called friends but recently joined genealogy groups. How do l contribute with copies of certificates, photos or links? How do l attach a pdf or jpeg, how about a spreadsheet of names etc? Yes, l really am very green and don’t even know how to send a personal message but good with file folders, spreadsheets, email? I’ve seen several postings of photos with names and dates right on the photos.

Immigrants & Emigrants - General / Where is Robert Leckie (b1882-Glasgow), brother of Daniel.

Parents Mary Ann Wilson & Robert Leckie of Calton, both died young, brothers raised in Quarriers home Bridge of Weir (1901 census). No record of Robert in 1911 census. Daniel married Janet Henderson, moved to Clydebank. They never saw each other again. Ships list to US or Canada do not match birth year, or on next census. Cannot match any death record for Robert Leckie in UK or Canada or US. 90 year-old nephew would like to solve this mystery, maybe locate relatives.
