Renfrewshire / Agnes McGhee c 1878 Port glasgow

HI

I am trying to find a Agnes McGhee born c1878 - parents John McGhee and Martha Anderson - I think that she was born in port glasgow.

this is according to her Marriage cert. 13/3/1899 to william Docherty however on the 1881 census it looks like her father and mother are not married. and are living with marthas parents. could this mean that she was out of wedlock when she was born,? can any one advise - please and thank you.

I not sure how to ask for help on this one -

I am looking for a (*) Mcewan docherty born 1923 greenock to Parents Bernard Docherty and Agnes McCrossan I have managed to find all brothers and sister most of them died as children But she has dissapeared I have spent many hours looking for her but have no luck I am hoping that someone could throw some light on where I can go from here and find her. she was my mothers sister but was never talked about.

Please if anyone can advise would be very happy person

I am looking for a edward waterman born 1818 suffolk parents, at present i am unable to get his birth records but have his marriage certificate which he married a matha knock, i have reason to think that his father was also and edward and that his wife was a Jane kristrick not sure of the spelling on the mothers surname, if anyone could help i was be greatful. kind regards Tracey

can anyone help me or give some advise, I have just found out about a Uncle who was born 1907 - and died in accident,in 1923 on the death certificate it states that an ingury into the accident would be held in 29/9/1923 - as this was recorded in hampsted can anyone tell me the local papers and would i be able to get a copy of this. many thanks in advance

Hi,

Looking for a Carl and Josephine stein with children Charles and Ida I have found them on the 1891 census living in Finsbury but they seem to have disappear - I have found Charles married in 1918 in cheltenham but have no idea how he got there can anyone sugest where I can look please

I know that the family came over From Germany and in approx 1882 not sure if they came over together and then they got married as they got married in 1883 and charles was bn in 1886 and ida 1870

the spelling of charles marriaage was steen and not stein

I would be grateful for any advise or help his father ocupation on the marriage is retired taylor and his occupation is a male nurse

Hi all,

I have really hit a brick wall, and would love some help. How do I work out a connection with neighbours with the same name, on the 1841 census edward warterman/waterman is living next door to a family of warterman/watermans but as I have not been able to obtain parish records or census for before that date I am unable to confirm any conections Please advise best route now.

I am trying to trace a James waterman who married twice once to annie hodsdon children James samuel b 1887 George 1888 william 1891 annie died in 1892 in paddington and he remarried a Charlotte wright 1893 they had a child in 1900 - but I cannot find anymore information on either of them - any advise or help would be great
