I have William McGowan as my gr gr grandfather --he was born in Co Leitrim in 1834 .I have him on the 1891 census living in Morningside ,Lanarkshire --married to Mary Anne Finlayson from Lochcarron .I am looking for his parents .

I am looking for information on James Brownlee who was in the mounted section and often took part in the Lanimers Day procession---up to and including early 1950s .He was from Douglas Water .
