Dublin / Elizabeth Thompson in Dublin

Hi,

I am hoping some kind soul can help before I go completely insane  ??? I have found Elizabeth Thompson in the 1911 census at 133 Foley Street Dublin, she was born c1866 in Dublin. In 1911 she is listed as a widow and is living with sons John (born Dublin c 1898) and George born Dublin c1902). I know that george attended the Royal Hibernian Military School and went on to live in Kent England. He died aged 34 in Folkestone. His father was a serving soldier in the Royal Innisklling Fusiliers according to records of admission to the Royal Hibernian. I am drawing a complete blank in tracing this family further back. I believe Elizabeth was married to George Thompson (Snr) but I am only going on information from George Thompson (jnrs) marriage certificate. If anyone can help or point me in the right direction I would be eternally grateful. Thank you  :)

Hi all,

After you did such fantastic work on Great Uncle Henry's photo I was wondering if you could do anything with this photo of my grandfather.

The photo was taken taken just before my grandfather died in 1938, my mother was 8 years old. it is the only photo she has of her father and grandmother so any help to make the photo clearer really would be appreciated.

I was wondering if some kind person could help me, I am fairly new to researching in Canada.

I have found a grave marker for my mothers first cousin but it doesn't give a date of death only a year. Is there any way of finding out exactly when he died?

The information I have from the grave marker is as follows -

IMP. FORCES
CAPTAIN R A HART
1921 - 1966

The grave is located at North Bay Union Cemetery in Widdifield, Nipissing County Ontario. The full name of the deceased is RICHARD ALFRED HART who was born in Kent England. Any advice would be really appreciated.

Also is there a way of finding out whether there was an obituary?

Kent Completed Lookup Requests / Can someone please help me find a birth?

Hi all,

I think I am loosing the plot, I am looking for the birth of RICHARD ALFRED HART,  I have found his death in Ontario and his gravestone gives the dates 1921 - 1966. These dates fit in with all the information I have on him. I have searched the births on Ancestry and cannot find him. He was born in Folkestone (Elham registration district).

Could some kind person please take a look for me to see if they can see him. Unfortunately I do not know his mothers maiden name.
