Looking to confirm the parents of Hannah beaven , born 1796 peterchurch Herefordshire

I have jenkin Williams as father and Mary as mother ...... Am I barking up the wrong tree or is my info correct . Expert help needed to confirm

Hi everyone ,

I would like to know how to get hold of my great uncles military records .  I am tracing my family tree and my aunty doesn't have any info on how or where here brother died . I have found a picture of his grave but , she would love to have more info on what happened to him . My grandmother had this info but took it to her grave .

So I am trying to find the records for a verdun Thomas Williams a "royal marine" of brynmawr ,wales who is buried in the Berlin 1939-1945 cemetery . He is remembered on the memorial in the town .

Is there any information online ..????? Or where can I get the records from .....if possible

Hi everyone ,

I would like some help from someone to make a family connection for me please , I have just added a Lewis Lewis esq to my family tree , he was born in 1791 in Builth Wales .... I have just found out that they owned a tannery in Builth . They lived in tan house in the above town , I have a lot of info on the Lewis family but would like to know who was Lewis Lewis snr parents were , I just can't find this anywhere.

Hi again ,

I'm looking to trace a James Williams of peterchurch Herefordshire , I,m trying to find his parents . I have a few leads but would like someone with abut more knowledge to point me in the right direction .james Williams born 1771 married to Hannah b Williams in peterchurch .......

I am also looking for his wife Hannah b Williams , again born in Herefordshire , I have just found out her fathers name was a jenkin Williams and her mother was Mary .

I Would like to know if her name was Mary beven(beaven) this would mean Hannah has a double barrelled  name ......?????

Her full name is Hannah beven(beaven) Williams  born 1791 and died in january 1883 in herefordshire after returning from pontithel where she spent most of her life as a land agent with her husband james Williams .

Family History Beginners Board / How to trace illegitimate child's father

Hi again ,

I'm tracing my 2xgreat grandfather from talgarth , his name is William Charles Williams .... He his on the 1881 census living with his mother Elizabeth b Williams and grandmother hannah williams although on the census his mother is rosa
 davies . I have found out that this is a lie....... I have his birth and death & marriage certificate .
On his birth certificate it doesn't say his fathers name , but when I got his marriage certificate , the name William Williams was registered as his father .....occupation landowner ....... I was told that the local parish will have the name of William Charles Williams father as they were the CSA of the time ...... Is there any truth in this ...???? Any advise welcome

Hi everyone ,

I'm in the process of doing may family tree and I've come to a stand still , I'm Tracing the Williams family of aberllynfi /pontithel . I have loads of info on the family but I'm struggling to trace a John Williams . Born in 1830 in aberllynfi Brecon  to parents James and Hannah . I have him on the 1861 census living in pontithel .... He is a maltster  (master) plus land agent and employs a number of people . He,s married to Hannah b Williams nee Lewis , but in 1871 census I find Hannah is know a widow and is living in bronllys with her daughters . In the census she is an annuitant , which I believe is someone being paid for land etc .ive tried tracing John for a number of months know but can't find anything , no probate or anything ...... I've been to aberllynfi (three cocks ) but can even find a gravestone or anything in the area .......

Really need some help to move on with this ,
