Hello All, I have hit the wall with my great grandparents! I am sure about Elizabeth McCloy 1871-1963 and James McKay 1871 - ? were my great grandparents as my mum remembers. They married in 1903. James parents were Sutherland McKay and Janet Wilson. And then Sutherlands line goes cold. Could be Robert McKay and Jane ...... but I am really stumped. Any help appreciated!

Hi All of you knowledgeable people,

The above couple were married at The Parish Church of Gillingham on the 10th of October 1807 according to an old family bible.

I can't find their marriage anywhere. Can anyone help?

Heeeeeeeelllllppppp!!! This is driving just about round the bend!! My great, great grandfather is Richard McCloy and he was married to Elizabeth White. They had three kids I can find Martha 1864, Richard 1868 and my great grannie Elizabeth 1871. On each of the birth certs the date of their marriage changes from 1855 to 1857 both is Glasgow and then to somewhere called Old Moutland in 1864. I am thinking maybe they weren't married at all? I found Elizabeth's death certificate and it also states that a son called Henry? witnessed the death cert. I can not even find a Richard Mcloy and Elizabeth on any census after or before 1901. Would so appreciate som help I am stumped!

Evening All,

Am having no luck whatsoever finding out anything on my Great grandfathers side of the family.
Andrew Stewart born 13 Sept 1868 in Glasgow. His parents Andrew Stewart and Sarah McCaig were married in Coleraine, Londonderry, Ireland on the 27 Nov 1867. I can't find any birth, actually any records about either of them. If anyone can help I would be really appreciative. I want as much info about them as I can get my grubby little hands on.

Hello All you clever ones,

I have found a marriage for Elisabeth Lott and Abraham Royce on the 3rd of April 1774 in Canterbury Kent. Not sure where. Wondering if someone could find out who the parents were or maybe find out birth dates for these two?

Am I asking too much? i don't use this site much so need tops if I am being overly demanding.

Hi there,

I am looking for the marriage of John Kirk and Rebecca ? They were either married at St Martins, St Phillip's in Birmingham. I am assuming it was around 1773 as their first child John Kirk seems to have been born around 1774. I have been through the parish records for St Phillip's but no luck. And can't seem to find the St Martins ones.

Any help appreciated.
