Richard Clancy was born in 1793 Ireland. He was sent out to VDL for 7 yrs on the Mary.
I think he came from Limerick.

My hope is to restart the investigation into James Warren.
The James Warren I am interested in was born in Mitcham England & he was born in 1807.
What was he sent to Tasmania Australia for? I know he got 7 years.
Who did he marry & when & where??/.

Jane SAUL was the mother of my grandmother. She signed my grandmothers marriage permission as my grandmother was under age. My grandmothers name was Minnie Johnson, nee

Charged on July 1840 age 29 with Assault on Habitation of Roger QUIRK.
Transported 7 years to Van Deimans Land on 'British Sovereign' 1841.
Married Margaret CLANCY of Mitchelstown, County cork, Ireland, in Launceston Tasmania, Australia 1850.

Andrew JOHNSON. He came from Finland, he said he was a shoemaker. his brother was a watchmaker. His fathers name could be Anders Augustus JOHANSON. His mothers name Maria Johanna & the family name he could not remember.
I have his marriage cert. On it, it says he married Mary MARTIN 1895. But he already sired two boys by then, or he said he was the father.
The Mary MARTIN was a widow. Her former name was LEE. her mothers name was Margaret Rosetta MARTIN. Where they came from nobody knows.

1830 9th April, Age 22. Arrival Tasmania. ex the SS MARY 2 from England. Given LIFE.Prisoner 1044.
1828 October, Age 20, Tried in the County of Surrey for receiving stolen goods. Acquitted. Surrey England.
1828, October, Age 20. Arrival County of Surrey, Six months goal. Residence Surrey, England.
What family did he leave behind ??

Hi my name is jimnic. I am looking for any info on Charles Beeson. Born abt 1811, Missinham/Missenden, Buckinghamshire, England & sent to Van Deimans Land 1835 for life with brother James. Convicted of Burglary at Bedford Court 12 March 1835. Aged 24 . Fathers name was Thomas. Mothers name was Elizabeth. Do I have any Relatives living in England??? What about Newspapers of the day ?
