Cheshire Completed Lookup Requests / John Galley & Sarah Kettle
« on: Sunday 04 November 07 02:34 GMT (UK)  »
Hi,
John Galley and Sarah Kettle were Thomas, Joseph, Anne & John Galley's parents . All were born in Nantwich, Cheshire.
Could someone please have a look for them on the 1841 census.

By 1851 Thomas was married to Eliza Dodd.
On Bapt records for Children of Thomas Galley & Eliza Dodd he is listed as a cordwainer.
Childrens names:
Thomas  J, Selina, John, Emily, Sarah, Anne, Joseph, Frances, Martha, William.

I have them on the 1881 census living in Nantwich at Sheep Market.
John is Wid. aged 84 as a retired shoemaker.
Thomas is head of household 57yrs as a Grocer & Provision Dealer.

I think I have the right people but would like to confirm them with census'.

Regards
Juju
