The Common Room / Marriage
« on: Tuesday 07 April 15 18:10 BST (UK)  »
I am searching for a possible marriage for my 2nd great grand uncle Richard Livingston.
On the 1841 census, for Macclesfield, Cheshire, UK Richard 'Levinson' can be found living with his parents and four sisters.
Richard was born c1824 in Ireland and can't be found after the 1841 census was taken. However, I think I might of found him living in Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA.
I think this might possibly be my Richard Livingston has he's been enumerated being born c1824 and from Ireland or England. A couple of the census returns in the US say Richard is a 'silk weaver' which Richard worked as back here in the UK.
If anyone can help me find a marriage for a Richard Livingston(e)/Levingston(e) and a Maria Sharratt here in the UK or US I would be most grateful for any help.
Thank you and kind regards.

Dublin / Looking for Livingston's of Dublin
« on: Monday 13 January 14 14:07 GMT (UK)  »
I am looking for baptisms which relate to my Livingston family.
I have already found two baptisms, which were very kindly found for me and they were:
John Livingston b.1815 and his sister Winifred b.1816 at St Catherine's Church, Dublin, Ireland.
I can not find the following persons:
Maria b.c1814, Catherine b.c1821, Richard b.c1824 & Margaret b.c1830.
The person who found John & Winifred's baptisms also found their parents marriage, which also took place at St Catherine's Church, Dublin. The date was 25th December, 1813.
If any persons can help me find baptisms for the rest of Richard & Ann (née Murphy) Livingston's children I would be most grateful to you.
Thank you for reading this post.
Kind regards,
Petea1 (Manchester, UK).
P.S. The surname for my Livingston family has been spelt with many variations.
i.e. Levingston(e), Livingston(e), Levison etc.
