Ayrshire / Andrew Gray , being lost at sea , any info welcome.

Hi all , I am trying to find info on my GGG Grand father who was lost at sea . the date his death was reported 1854 ,He was heading to America , He left Liverpool to go to Philadelphia on the 1st March but the Ship was never heard from again the ship was no stranger to the route as it used it for 4 years, there was 480 on board including 293 emigrants .
my GGG Grandfather Andrew Gray was born in Ayrshire in 1822 .

Hi all hoping to get some help on what and where my father was during the war.

his details as far as I know are:
Name: William Mulvey 1808120
He is Scottish from Glasgow , Service No:1808120 , 100/53rd AA driver trng Regt R.A. ENLISTED
15.5.1941 . he was a sargent then went down to W/BDR because he was AWOL for so many hours ...? His Medals :1939/45 Star , Africa Star , Atlantic Star , Italy Star , Pacific Star...?

THANK YOU in advance any help is welcome I think I have a copy of his records it is just what I can find in amongst his papers that others have been adding to.....
