Surrey / Percy William Andrews (1902)

I have found my great grandparents on the 1911 census
William Edward Andrews (1871) and Hannah Andrews (1877) living in Shepperton, Middlesex with Hannah's mother Ann Grout (1847).
At this time I know they had at least two children that were still alive (census form states this) -one was my Uncle Percy. Neither children are listed with them on the census, and I can find no trace of Percy anywhere. I have no idea who the other child was.

Any help in finding Percy and the other child much appreciated.
Percy was born 23.10.1902 in Gartbrook, Betchworth, Surrey, England (I have the birth certificate).

Yorkshire (North Riding) / Kate (Catherine) Kirby (1878)

I have kate Kirby on the 1891 census aged 13 with her mother, Elizabeth Bell (Married Charles Bell after Kate was born), aged 33 in Skelton, Yorkshire.
After this I cannot find her.

BOth kate and Elizabeth were born in Hurworth, Durham.

I beleive she married Hugh Robert Gunn in 1902 in Skelton, but can't find any record, and that they had 4 children - again can't find them anywhere. 1911 census included.

I can't even find Hugh Robert Gunn before this date. Unfortunately I know no more abut him.

Am I looking in the right places, or is my info wrong?

Any help much appreciated.

Kent / Criminal in Prison 1901

As far as I can tell my great granddad (William Andrews) was in Rochester Prison - listed on 1901 census.

What I was wondering is how I find out why he was there and for how long?

He was out in 1902 as that's when he married my great gran, and on 1891 census is living with his brother in Surrey.

Any pointers gratefully received,

Cornwall / Anne GAY m Charles LANDER (1813 Helston)

ON 14.09.1813 My gt (x4) grandfather Charles Lander married Ann(e) Gay. Charles is subsequently on the 1841 - 1861 censuses still in Helston with offspring.
On the IGI I can only find one Anne Gay that fits (born 1792 Mawgan in Meneage). ON Ancestry there are several Anne Gay possibilities (in family trees).

I am wondering which Ann this may be and how I might find out?

any help much appreciated.

Sussex / William Tullett - c1775 Slaugham

Hi all,

I'm back on the hunt for my great (x4) granddad - William Tullett.

As far as I can tell he was born around 1775 in Slaugham, in Sussex. I am pretty sure his wife was Phoebe Hills (not 100%).

Mary c1809
William c1809
James c1810 (dates vary from census to census) - my gt (x3) graddad
John c1812
Eliza c1815
Jesse c1818
Henry c1820

I am tryng to find more out about William ie confirmation of wife - parents.

There are several Tulletts in Slaugham at this time, but none really seem to fit with William.

Any ideas, suggestions, help much appreciated.

Yorkshire (East Riding & York) / Boynton family missing from 1851 census?

I have Welburn Boynton (Walkington, 1813), wife Jane (1811 Beverley) and children - John (1837-1837) William (1838), Ann (1839-1840), Joseph (1840-1842), Samuel (1842-1843), Welburn (1845), Emma (1850). I can find them in 1841 in Burstwick, then again in 1861 in Beverley - but neither hide nor hair in 1851, have tried various spellings but still no luck.

Anyone out there able to solve this one?

Australia Lookups completed / William Thomas Footer (1860)

I have the above named family member, born in Australia - married in 1881 to Hannah Stiggants, and am trying to find his parents - or at the very least his father - possibly an Australian Emigrant in the late 1850s - maybe also called William, or James?

Any help gratefully received.

Kent / Harris - Andrews Marriage 1951 Isle of Sheppy

In the Jan - March quarter of 1951 Doris Andrews married 'Harry Harris' on the Isle of Sheppy. Both now passed away and thus not a source for the info I need (trying to trace my great granddad). - Doris was my mum's Aunt.

I was wondering is there a way to get her age from the Marriage without applying for the certificate? So I can then get her birth cert, and maybe follow up through there.

Sussex / trying to find Elizabeth Ede

I am looking for the parents of Elizabeth Ede (c1804 Slauham, Sx) who married William Langley. Have possibles of James Ede adn Mary but am looking for evidence.
Can anyone help?
