Hope this is William Arthur Pay (1865-1941), who later during the Boer War used his name other first name Arthur, to confuse matters ::)

WJ Pay was born aprox 1830 and died between 1873 and 1881 in London.

William Arthur Pay Lived in SA from 1880-1998 and from 1901-1902. During this period he named himself Arthur William, William Arthur and simply Arthur.
other facts:
-fought in Boer War
-was married to Elizabeth Augusta untill she died in 1898
-was married to ?????? in 1901
-was a mining engineer
-lived in USA (1898-1901 and 1903-1910)  and in South America after 1910
I would be very grateful if you have any info on my gg-father :D
