Can anyone help me locate the WW1 service records for Albert Baird Frew Syme?He was born in 1889 in Glasgow.
He is believed to have served in the Royal Army Service Corps as a Sergeant, possiblywith, 967th Mechanical Transport Company, but I do not know his regimental number.
I have copies of pages from his diary and would like to know if anyone can decipher the entry dated Thursday, 1 February 1918, where he writes "Had our Ranks confirmed today". Subsequent writing in that entry makes no sense to me. Any help greatly appreciated.
