Northamptonshire / Parker family help

I'm hoping someone can help me break through this brick wall.
My Grandfather, William John PARKER, and his parents, are proving difficult to pin down.
I have his marriage certificate showing his marriage to Lillian THEOBALD in 1914 giving his age as 29. The marriage took place in Amersham, Bucks but I cannot work out his residence at the time, which appears to be somewhere in Northampton(shire) ( see image below ).
It also gives me his father's name as John William PARKER
I have his death certificate from 1949 giving his age at death as 64.
Try as I might, I cannot find a record for William's birth, nor any census info ( or at least none that I am very confident about ).
Anyone got any ideas to point me in the right direction, please?
