Family History Beginners Board / Family of Francis Henry George Williams early 1800's

I have copies of birth, death, and marriage certificates of my maternal grandfather, Edward Williams.
His father's name was Francis Henry George Williams and I am wondering how best to go about finding any of his forebears or wife or other relatives.
Williams is such a common name but I have discovered a Francis Henry Williams maried Diana Feltham in 1823 at St. Martin.s in the field, Westminster, that would be about the right period I think – so they may be my grandfather's parents – if no other information comes to light I guess I could obtain a copy of their marriage certificate but how do I establish whether the Williams-Feltham are the parents of grandfather Edward Williams ?
