Kirkcudbrightshire / Alexander Baird Urr / Kirkcudbrightshire
« on: Thursday 27 November 14 10:46 GMT (UK)  »
Hi,

I am looking for details of Alexander Baird born approx 1796. On the 1951 Census it has him married to a Sarah. I would love to find details of this marriage and Sarah's maiden name.
There is also a death record for his daughter Margaret in 1866 which gives the mother as Janet Black. Is there also a marriage of Alexander to Janet Black?

Any help would be appreciated.

Kevin

Worcestershire Lookup Requests / Worcestershire wills in Diocese of Hereford
« on: Sunday 26 October 14 18:26 GMT (UK)  »
Hi,

I've noticed today that many of the towns I am looking at for my research are in the Diocese of Hereford, although they are in Worcestershire. (Eastham / Rock / Knighton on Teme ).

Does anyone know where the wills for this area would be kept? Hereford record office or Worcester? Or is there an index available. I'm looking for any RUDD wills from this area.

Kevin.

« on: Monday 13 October 14 22:23 BST (UK)  »
Hi :)
I am looking for information on Margery Rudd and Richard Rudd who were siblings and born 1710-1720. I think they may have been born in Knighton on Teme.

Is there anyone who could look up these details for me?

Many thanks
Kevin

Worcestershire Lookup Requests / Rudd family in Tenbury
« on: Tuesday 09 September 14 10:23 BST (UK)  »
Hi,
I'm looking for any information on the Rudd family from Tenbury. Does anyone have access to the parish records to do a search for me please? The main person I have in Thomas RUDD, who according to the 1851 census was born 1823 in Tenbury. He also was not with his family on the 1841 census. If someone can find that record i would be grateful, also if there are other Rudds around the same period I may be able to link them to a census to get more family details.

Thanks in advance,
Kevin
